Sano will have his rehab program delayed after burning himself with a heating pad, Sam Blum of The Athletic reports.

Angels manager Ron Washington noted Sunday that it's not considered a serious injury, but Sano will be held out of rehab games for a couple of days, per Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com. Sano has two rehab appearances with the Arizona Complex League Angels, going 2-for-5 with two RBI. He was placed on the 10-day injured list May 1 due to left knee inflammation.

Yankees manager Aaron Boone said Sunday that Berti was placed on the 10-day injured list Saturday with a high-grade left calf strain, Chris Kirschner of The Athletic reports.

Boone didn't provide a timeline for Berti, though the 34-year-old will remain on the IL well beyond the 10-day minimum. Berti sustained the injury in an 8-0 win over the Padres on Friday, when he collapsed to the ground after running out of the batter's box in the ninth inning. Kevin Smith was called up from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes Barre on Saturday and should provide infield depth while Berti is on the shelf.

Miranda will start at third base and bat sixth in Sunday's game against the Rangers.

Willi Castro looked as though he would settle in as the Twins' primary third baseman after Byron Buxton returned from the injured list around the middle of May, but Minnesota has instead kept Castro in the regular lineup by moving him all over the outfield. As a result, Miranda has gained traction at the hot corner of late; Sunday will mark his ninth consecutive start at the position. Miranda has earned the playing time by producing a .986 OPS over his last eight starts, but he could nonetheless see his opportunities decrease by the end of next week, when Royce Lewis (quadricep) could be back from the IL.

Mendick is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Orioles.

Mendick looks to have moved back into a utility role following Bryan Ramos' return from the 10-day injured list Saturday. Ramos will pick up a second straight start at the hot corner while Mendick once again hits the bench.

Ramirez went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Angels.

Ramirez is 12-for-33 (.364) with six homers and 14 RBI over his last eight games. He's also leading the majors with 51 RBI thanks to his recent surge. The third baseman hasn't reached the 30-homer mark in either of the last two seasons, but he's halfway there now with 15 through 51 contests, to go with a hearty .267/.314/.539 slash line, 35 runs scored, seven stolen bases, nine doubles and a triple.

Rojas is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Nationals.

The Mariners will go with a right-handed-heavy lineup to counter Nationals southpaw Patrick Corbin, with Rojas hitting the bench for Seattle along with fellow left-handed hitters Luke Raley and Dominic Canzone. Dylan Moore will spell Rojas at third base.

Kreidler (finger) began a rehab assignment with Single-A Lakeland on Wednesday and has gone 0-for-6 with one walk and four strikeouts through his first two games.

Kreidler has been on Triple-A Toledo's 7-day injured list since early April while recovering from surgery to repair a fractured right index finger. Once he regains his timing at the plate during the rehab assignment, Kreidler should settle back into an everyday role in the Toledo infield.

Westburg went 3-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 5-3 win over the White Sox.

The O's did all their scoring in the eighth inning, and Westburg slugged the last of three Baltimore homers in the frame when he took Michael Kopech deep. It was the 25-year-old infielder's first multi-hit performance since May 15, snapping a 4-for-29 (.138) swoon. Despite the mini-slump, Westburg sports a .285/.342/.508 slash line on the season with eight homers, five steals, 26 runs and 31 RBI in 48 contests.

The Yankees transferred LeMahieu (foot) from the 10-day injured list to the 60-day IL on Saturday.

LeMahieu's move to the 60-day IL has no impact on his expected return date of May 28. It will, however, free up a 40-man roster spot for Kevin Smith, who was called up from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre to replace infielder Jon Berti (calf) on the 26-man active roster. LeMahieu will operate as New York's primary third baseman once he returns from the IL, though he'll receive more days off initially as he eases his way back from a non-displaced fracture of his right foot.

Berti was in visible pain after falling to the ground as he began to run toward first base during Friday's game, and it will officially cost him at least 10 days as he heads to the injured list. The trainers appeared to be working near Berti's Achilles' tendon while he was on the ground, though imaging showed he suffered only a calf strain as a result of the incident. Kevin Smith will come up from Triple-A to take Berti's roster spot.
