Toro went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 4-2 win over the Athletics.

Toro added an insurance run on late for the M's with a solo home run off Sergio Romo in the eighth to put them up 4-2. The long ball was his first since Aug. 31. The 24-year-old was cruising at the beginning of the month, hitting .323/.389/.452 through his first eight games but has since fallen back a ton, hitting just .111/.176/.175 since Sept. 11. Toro remains a bright young piece of this Mariners team and will look to build on Wednesday's homer during the final series of the season, which begins Friday against the Angels.

Paredes isn't in the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Twins.

Paredes had started each of the last four games, and he went 4-for-14 with two doubles, a run, an RBI, two walks and two strikeouts. Harold Castro will take his place at the keystone and bat sixth.

Moncada went 1-for-3 with a solo home run, a walk and two runs scored in Tuesday's 7-1 win over the Reds.

Moncada took full advantage of facing an inexperienced big-league pitcher who was making his debut Tuesday. The 26-year-old led off the second with a solo blast to right center and later scored again in the sixth after drawing a walk earlier in the inning. Moncada has just two home runs this month and 13 for the year, as he upped his slash line to .264/.377/.405 with 44 extra-base hits, 58 RBI, 70 runs scored, three steals and 83:152 BB:K over 599 plate appearances.

Bregman went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 4-3 victory against Tampa Bay.

Michael Wacha no-hit Houston for five innings, and Andrew Kittredge retired the first two batters he faced in the sixth. However, Bregman broke up the hitless string with his solo shot that gave Houston its first run of the game. The long ball was Bregman's second in as many games following a 10-contest homerless drought. The third baseman has struggled with injuries this season, but he has hit a solid .283 with 12 homers and 54 RBI in the 87 games in which he has played.

Urshela went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and another run scored during Tuesday's win over the Blue Jays.

Urshela knocked in an insurance run for the Yankees in the ninth inning en route to his 14th long ball of the year as he extended his hitting streak to eight. In 112 games, the 29-year-old is batting .267/.303/.421 with 47 RBI.

Nevin was called up by the Orioles on Tuesday.

Nevin made his big-league debut back in late May but appeared in just two games, going 1-for-5 with a walk. He'll give the Orioles another corner bat for the final week of the season.

Paredes will start at second base and bat sixth Monday against the White Sox.

Making his third straight start at the keystone Monday, Paredes appears to have usurped Willi Castro as Detroit's preferred option at the position heading into the final week of the season. Since his Sept. 19 call-up from Triple-A Toledo, Paredes has appeared in four contests for Detroit while going 2-for-12 with a double, three walks, an RBI and a run.

Bregman went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a walk in Sunday's 4-3 defeat at the hands of the Athletics.

Bregman walked in the first inning, swatted a solo home run in the sixth to give Houston a temporary lead and singled in the ninth to reach base three times for the sixth time in September. The solid performance was a nice rebound for the star third baseman, who'd reached base in only five of his last 22 plate appearances entering play Sunday.

Paredes went 2-for-3 with a walk, a double and an RBI in Sunday's 2-1 loss to the Royals.

Paredes doubled home a run in the ninth inning against Kansas City closer Scott Barlow, providing all of Detroit's offense on the day. The 22-year-old has only seen 18 games of action at the MLB level this season but may get a longer look down the stretch for the 75-80 Tigers. His two hits Sunday were his first in the majors since July, and his RBI was his first since June.

LeMahieu (hip/groin) will return to the lineup for Sunday's game against Boston, leading off and playing third base.

A minor issue in LeMahieu's hip and groin area cost him a start Saturday, but he's ready to go after a brief absence. He hasn't been particularly good at the plate thus far in September, with a lack of extra-base hits limiting him to a .688 OPS despite a solid .278 batting average.
