  • Red Sox's Rafael Devers: Extends impressive stretch

Devers went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run, an additional RBI, another run scored and a walk in Friday's win over the Phillies.

Devers produced across the board and delivered a complete performance, but that has been a trend over his last few games. The third baseman has hit safely in eight of his last 10 games, recording three multi-hit performances in that stretch and hitting .282 with four homers, seven RBI, eight runs scored and a stolen base in that span.

  • Taylor Walls SS | TB

Rays' Taylor Walls: Primed for big-league debut

Walls will be called up from Triple-A Durham on Saturday after the Rays traded Willy Adames to the Brewers, Adam Berry of MLB.com reports.

The 24-year-old should slot in as Tampa Bay's starting shortstop following the departure of Adames on Friday. Walls was off to a strong start at Triple-A this season with a .327/.468/.490 slash line in 14 games, but he may not have much of a window to secure the starting role with top prospect Wander Franco still waiting for his opportunity.

  • Alex Bregman 3B | CHC

Astros' Alex Bregman: Knocks in pair Thursday

Bregman went 3-for-4 with a double, two RBI and a walk in Thursday's 8-4 win over Oakland.

The third baseman knocked in Jose Altuve with a third-inning single and then did it again in the seventh with a double. Bregman continues to thrive in the heart of Houston's order -- he's gone 9-for-18 (.500) with five RBI and six runs scored in the last five games. Overall, he's posted a .324/.404/.486 slash line with five home runs, 24 RBI and 26 runs scored in 37 contests.

Yankees' Gio Urshela: Not starting Thursday

Urshela isn't starting Thursday's game against the Rangers.

  • Jose Ramirez 3B | CLE

Indians' Jose Ramirez: Notches two steals Wednesday

Ramirez went 1-for-3 with a walk, two stolen bases and two runs scored in Wednesday's 3-2 win over the Angels.

Ramirez reached base in the first and sixth and successfully stole both times he got on. The 28-year-old is riding a five-game hitting streak and is now up to six stolen bases on the year. He continues to be one of Cleveland's most productive players on offense, slashing .265/.353/.578 with 12 home runs, 25 RBI and 29 runs scored.

White Sox's Yoan Moncada: Hit streak reaches nine games

Astros' Alex Bregman: Scores three runs

Bregman went 0-for-2 with three walks and three runs scored Wednesday against the Athletics.

Bregman didn't record a hit yet still managed to reach base three times and to come around to score on each occasion. Hitless games have been rare for Bregman to this point in the season, as he has come up empty only three times across his last 15 contests. Overall, Bregman has maintained a .312/.391/.471 line with five home runs, 22 RBI and 26 runs scored across 36 games.

  • Matt Chapman 3B | SF

Athletics' Matt Chapman: Laces pair of doubles

Chapman went 2-for-4 with an RBI double and another two-bagger in a win over the Astros on Tuesday.

Chapman's two-game, 5-for-8 tear has quickly boosted his average 23 points to .233, and he's also driven in four runs along the way. The third baseman's slugging percentage remains a pedestrian .404 at the moment, but he has contributed 13 extra-base hits (six doubles, two triples, five home runs) and currently boasts a career-high 12.8 percent walk rate that has his OBP at a respectable .331.

  • Twins' Willians Astudillo: Checks back into starting nine

Astudillo (hand) will start at third base and bat seventh Wednesday against the White Sox.

Astudillo will return to the lineup for the first time since exiting Sunday's game against the Athletics with a bruised hand, but the Twins never seemed too concerned about the injury. The 29-year-old was used off the bench in Monday's 16-4 loss to the White Sox, going 0-for-3 while seeing action in the field at catcher and pitcher. Astudillo will be filling in Wednesday for Josh Donaldson, who is resting for the day game after a night game.

Donaldson isn't starting Wednesday's game against the White Sox.
