Jonah Bride 3B | MIA
Marlins' Jonah Bride: Getting fourth straight start
Bride will start at first base and bat cleanup in Wednesday's game against the Rays.
Bride will pick up his fourth straight start, but he'll move across the diamond Wednesday after he had played third base in each of the prior three contests. With the Marlins moving Josh Bell to Arizona on Tuesday and corner infielder Jake Burger perhaps being a candidate to see more time at designated hitter moving forward, Bride could have a path to regular playing time if his bat warrants it. He's gotten on base at a .345 clip since being recalled from Triple-A Jacksonville on July 4 but hasn't produced an extra-base hit or a stolen base over nine games.

Emmanuel Rivera 3B | BAL
Marlins' Emmanuel Rivera: Lifts homer
Rivera went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run during Tuesday's 9-3 loss to the Rays.
Rivera notched his first long ball of the season Tuesday, taking Jeffrey Springs yard in the first inning. With the Marlins unloading several bats at the deadline, Rivera could see regular playing time down the stretch of the regular season. The 28-year-old is slashing .212/.296/.279 with 14 RBI and 14 runs across 190 plate appearances.

Suarez went 4-for-6 with three homers, five RBI and four runs scored in Tuesday's 17-0 win over the Nationals.

Coming into July, Suarez had hit just six homers and 32 RBI while batting .196 through 80 games. Ryan McMahon 3B | COL
Rockies' Ryan McMahon: Lifts three-run homer
McMahon went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run and a walk in Tuesday's 10-7 loss to the Angels.
McMahon's blast gave the Rockies a 6-2 advantage in the second inning, but they didn't hold the lead for long. The infielder has gone 15 games without a multi-hit effort, batting a poor .170 in that span, though he has drawn 11 walks. For the season, he's at a .262/.348/.440 slash line with 16 homers, 50 RBI, 51 runs scored, 21 doubles and three stolen bases over 104 contests. After staying put at the trade deadline, McMahon should continue to occupy a starting role in the heart of the lineup.
