Farmer went 3-for-5 with a pair of RBI in Tuesday's 5-3 extra-innings win over the Diamondbacks.

Farmer delivered a two-run single, his third hit of the game, in the 11th inning. Over his last four contests, he's gone 9-for-16 with four RBI, though he has just one extra-base hit in that span. The strong hitting has him up to a .283/.343/.435 slash line with five home runs, 37 RBI, 23 runs scored, four stolen bases and 14 doubles through 54 games overall.

  • Eugenio Suarez 3B | CIN

Mariners' Eugenio Suarez: Opens scoring with homer

Suarez went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Tuesday's 5-0 win over the Twins.

Suarez went 0-for-8 in his last two games, the first time since May 24-27 he'd been held without hits in consecutive contests. His homer Tuesday opened the scoring in the fourth inning. The third baseman is up to 12 long balls this season, and he's added a .231/.324/.453 slash line, 34 RBI, 32 runs scored, 12 doubles and a triple through 259 plate appearances as the Mariners' top option at the hot corner.

  • Evan Longoria 3B | ARI

Giants' Evan Longoria: Hitless in return

Longoria (hamstring) went 0-for-2 with a strikeout in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Royals.

Longoria started at designated hitter, but he gave way to pinch hitter Tommy La Stella in the sixth inning. This was Longoria's first start since Friday as he battled a hamstring injury, and he may be eased back into action to avoid aggravating the issue. The third baseman is slashing .225/.287/.463 with five home runs, 12 RBI and nine runs scored through 87 plate appearances.

  • Red Sox's Rafael Devers: Homers in third straight game

Devers went 1-for-5 with a three-run home run and an additional run scored during Tuesday's 6-1 win over Oakland.

The 25-year-old delivered a massive 439-foot, three-run shot to right center during the fourth inning to put the Red Sox up 6-0, extending his homer streak to three games. Devers' 15 home runs for the season is tied for sixth in the American League, and he also has a .332/.369/.609 slash line, 23 doubles and 38 RBI.

  • Anthony Rendon 3B | LAA

Angels' Anthony Rendon: Aggravates wrist injury

Rendon was removed from Tuesday's game against the Dodgers after aggravating his right wrist injury.

Rendon spent two weeks on the injured list with right wrist inflammation before being reinstated to the active roster Friday, but he aggravated the issue Tuesday during his fourth game back. The severity of the injury this time around is unclear, and it remains to be seen if the 32-year-old will require a return trip to the injured list.

  • Evan Longoria 3B | ARI

Giants' Evan Longoria: Rejoins lineup Tuesday

Longoria (hamstring) is batting fifth as the designated hitter Tuesday against the Royals, Maria I. Guardado of MLB.com reports.

Longoria has been held out since Friday due to tightness in his left hamstring, but he'll rejoin the lineup Tuesday. The 36-year-old still made two appearances off the bench, so the injury never appeared to be a serious concern.

  • Jake Burger 1B | TEX

White Sox's Jake Burger: Won't return before Friday

Burger (hand) will return Friday against the Astros at the earliest, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Burger was hit in the hand by a pitch Monday against the Tigers and wound up leaving the game. He's out of the lineup Tuesday and will remain out Wednesday as well, as the White Sox want to take advantage of Thursday's scheduled off day to give him a full three days off to rest his hand.

  • Tigers' Jeimer Candelario: Starts rehab assignment Wednesday

Candelario (shoulder) will begin a rehab assignment at Triple-A Toledo on Wednesday, Jason Beck of MLB.com reports.

Candelario was cleared to head out on the minor-league assignment after he checked out fine when he completed agility drills Tuesday at Comerica Park. He'll most likely stay with Toledo through the weekend, but if all goes well, Candelario could be ready to return from the 10-day injured list and reclaim everyday duties at third base when the Tigers begin a series in Boston on Monday.

  • Ke'Bryan Hayes 3B | CIN

Pirates' Ke'Bryan Hayes: Not starting nightcap

Hayes is out of the lineup for Game 2 of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Cardinals.

Hayes went 0-for-4 with two strikeouts during the matinee and will head to the bench while in the midst of a 2-for-20 slump. Hoy Park will start at the hot corner in Hayes' place during Game 2.

  • Nolan Arenado 3B | ARI

Cardinals' Nolan Arenado: Sitting out nightcap

Arenado is not in the lineup for Game 2 of Tuesday's doubleheader versus the Pirates, John Denton of MLB.com reports.

The 31-year-old went 0-for-4 during the matinee and will take a seat for Game 2 of the twin bill. Brendan Donovan will man the hot corner in Arenado's place and bat second.
