Rockies' Ryan McMahon: Slugs three-run homer
McMahon went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run and a walk Friday against the Reds.
McMahon managed only one hit, but he made it by count by taking Hunter Greene yard in the fifth frame to record his second home run of the season. It was his first long ball since April 17, though he did have three doubles in 10 starts in that span. McMahon has also found other ways to contribute, as he has at least one hit in seven of his last nine games, and he's also collected seven RBI and three runs scored in that span. Overall, McMahon is hitting .242/.359/.424 across 78 plate appearances on the campaign.

Astros' Alex Bregman: Smacks fourth homer
Bregman went 1-for-4 with a solo home run, two walks and three runs scored Friday against the Blue Jays.
Bregman got the Astros on the board with a solo home run in the first inning, his fourth long ball of the season. He reached base an additional two times on free passes, and he came around to score on each occasion. Even after this performance, Bregman has only five extra-base hits across his last 18 games. However, he's still reaching base regularly thanks to a 16.9 percent walk rate, so he has been able to rack up 12 runs scored across 83 total plate appearances on the campaign.

Groshans notched four hits in five games at Single-A and is now ready to get his first taste of Triple-A. He is capable of playing all over the infield and was reportedly very impressive this spring before getting injured.

J.D. Davis 1B | LAA
Mets' J.D. Davis: May be available Friday
Manager Buck Showalter said Davis (foot) is feeling much better and could be available off the bench Friday against the Phillies, Deesha Thosar of the New York Daily News reports.
The 29-year-old had X-rays on his left foot come back negative after being hit by a pitch Wednesday, and the injury may not end up resulting in much of an absence. Davis remains out of the lineup Friday, though he'd likely be sitting regardless of the injury since righty Aaron Nola is pitching for Philadelphia.

Tyler Nevin 3B | ATH
Orioles' Tyler Nevin: Promoted, starting Friday
Nevin was recalled from Triple-A Norfolk and will start at third base Friday against Boston, Nathan Ruiz of The Baltimore Sun reports.
Nevin missed out on the Opening Day roster but will join the big-league club after spending the first three weeks of the season at Triple-A. He has a .979 OPS in 17 games with Norfolk and may see most of his opportunities at third base since Ryan Mountcastle (neck) is rejoining the lineup Friday and Trey Mancini is also healthy.
