Riley went 2-for-3 with a double, two RBI, a run scored and a walk in Thursday's win over the Rockies.

Riley made his presence felt once again with a two-run double in the top of the third, and that kind of production has become routine for him. The third baseman has been seeing the ball extremely well of late and has recorded hits in all but one of his last nine contests, going 14-for-34 (.412) with a homer, two doubles, six RBI and four runs scored in that span.

Hayes (hand) is not in the lineup for Friday's game against the Cubs, Kevin Gorman of TribLive.com reports.

Having not played since Sunday, Hayes must be dealing with a fairly significant hand bruise, although there's been no indication a trip to the injured list is in his future. It's unclear whether the 24-year-old will be available off the bench Friday. Hoy Park is starting at third base and batting eighth.

Candelario went 2-for-5 with a three-run home run during Thursday's loss to the A's.

Candelario took Deolis Guerra deep with a 388-foot shot in the seventh inning. He now has 11 long balls and 51 RBI on the year, bringing him close to surpassing his career high of 54 RBI.

Anderson is considered day-to-day due to shoulder discomfort, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.

Anderson is slated to miss a second consecutive game Thursday, and manager Don Mattingly revealed the third baseman is dealing with shoulder discomfort after diving for a ball Tuesday. It's not yet clear whether the 28-year-old will return to the lineup for Friday's series opener against the Phillies.

Newman isn't in the lineup for Thursday's game against the Cubs, Kevin Gorman of TribLive.com reports.

Newman has been in a slump recently, as he's hit just .077 with two RBI, a walk and three strikeouts across the last seven games. Cole Tucker will shift to shortstop while Wilmer Difo starts at the keystone.

Hayes has been sidelined since he sustained a bruised hand Sunday, and he'll remain out for the series opener against the Cubs. Phillip Evans will take over at third base and bat eighth.

Duffy (neck) is starting Thursday's game against the Pirates.

Duffy was removed from Wednesday's lineup due to neck stiffness, but he'll return to the starting nine a day later. Across his last four starts, the 30-year-old has gone 3-for-12 with five runs, two walks and four strikeouts.

Muncy went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a triple Wednesday in a win over Atlanta.

Muncy was one of two Dodgers with multiple hits in the game. His first-inning solo shot gave the team an early lead, and he banged his second triple of the campaign in the third frame. Muncy trails only Fernando Tatis in the National League with his 30 homers, and he has also registered 80 runs, 78 RBI, 21 doubles and two stolen bases while posting a .261/.388/.937 slash line. His 153 wRC+ trails only Bryce Harper and Tatis among NL hitters.

Anderson isn't starting Thursday's game against the Mets, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.

Anderson will be out of the lineup for a second straight game after he went 2-for-8 with a run, a stolen base, two walks and four strikeouts across his last three appearances. Isan Diaz will start at the hot corner and bat sixth.

Bregman went 2-for-4 in Wednesday's 1-0 loss to the Mariners.

Bregman's second hit came in the ninth inning, and he was removed for a pinch runner, an indication that the Astros are being overly cautious with the infielder who is just returning from a lengthy stay on the injured list due to a quadriceps injury. The run was deemed important at the time, and manager Dusty Baker didn't want to risk Bregman pushing it and aggravating the injury.
