Moustakas (wrist) stands a "good chance" to return to the lineup Wednesday against the Marlins, Sophia Minnaert of FOX Sports Wisconsin reports.

It had been previously reported that Moustakas "could" return Wednesday, but it now sounds like he's probable based on manager Craig Counsell's comments prior to Tuesday's game. Moustakas was held out of the lineup from Aug. 27-Sept. 1 and only lasted one start before renewed soreness put him back on the shelf. As of Friday, he was said to still be in "significant pain," but Moustakas has been able to play defense in recent days and will be available to pinch hit Tuesday.

Moustakas (wrist) could return to the lineup Wednesday against the Marlins, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

While he is not in Tuesday's lineup, Moustakas says he feels good enough to pinch hit in that contest. He has been available off the bench as a defender only over the past several days. Travis Shaw is starting at third base and hitting eighth.

Senzel (shoulder) will remain sidelined Tuesday against the Mariners.

Shoulder soreness will keep Senzel out of the lineup for the sixth straight game. He's appeared off the bench in three of those games, so it's possible his absence won't last much longer. Phillip Ervin starts in center field on this occasion.

LeMahieu isn't starting Tuesday's game against Detroit, Lindsey Adler of The Athletic reports.

LeMahieu is in line for a rare day off after registering a base knock in each of the last three games. Gio Urshela starts at the hot corner and will hit sixth.

Davis is not in the lineup Tuesday against the Diamondbacks.

Davis has swung a hot bat over his last 12 games, posting a .326/.396/.581 line with three homers. Jeff McNeil moves to left field Tuesday, with Todd Frazier starting at third base.

Bregman went 1-for-2 with a three-run home run and a walk Monday in the Astros' 15-0 win over the Athletics.

Bregman turned in one of the more muted box-score lines among Houston hitters in the 21-1 victory over the Mariners on Sunday, but he played a more prominent part in the Astros' second straight blowout win. His 35th home run of the season was one of seven the Astros slugged on the night, with five of those coming off Oakland starter Mike Fiers. Dating back to the beginning of August, Bregman is slashing .414/.497/.781 in 151 plate appearances, with his 235 wRC+ over that stretch, leading all qualified hitters in the majors.

Urshela went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a double in a victory over Boston on Monday.

In his first start since returning from a stint on the 10-day injured list, Urshela showed that the time off did not cool down his hot bat, smashing a pair of extra-base hits including his 19th long ball of the season. The 27-year-old has been one of the most pleasant surprises in baseball in 2019, slashing .332/.370/.563 with 33 doubles and 68 RBI in 419 plate appearances.

Donaldson went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run and a walk during a 7-2 victory against the Phillies on Monday.

The 33-year-old now has 37 homers this season, giving him his most since 2016. He's also just four away from tying his career high from 2015. Donaldson has five homers in his last nine games and four already this month. He is batting .262 with 88 RBI, 90 runs and four steals as well in 496 at-bats.

Moustakas has been available for defense over the last few days, but he hasn't received a plate appearance since last Monday as he deals with a bruised wrist. It's not clear exactly when he'll be back in the lineup, but he appears to be moving in the right direction.

Moustakas (wrist) entered Sunday's 8-5 win over the Cubs as a defensive replacement at third base before being pulled from the game when his turn in the batting order came up.

After making appearances at the hot corner for the final two games of the series with Chicago, Moustakas' left wrist injury doesn't look to be impacting him when he throws or fields, but the 31-year-old still hasn't been cleared to resume hitting. Until he takes batting practice without discomfort, Moustakas' return to the lineup shouldn't be viewed as imminent. Travis Shaw and Hernan Perez will draw most of the starts at third base while Moustakas' injury limits him to a bench role.
