Caleb Durbin 3B | BOS
Red Sox's Caleb Durbin: Sitting for second straight day
Durbin is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Royals.
Nick Sogard will get the nod at third base for Durbin for the second day in a row, perhaps hinting that the latter is on shaky ground atop the depth chart. After posting a .721 OPS as a rookie with Milwaukee in 2025, Durbin has struggled mightily at the dish during his first season in Boston, slashing just .165/.247/.245 with a 15.5 percent strikeout rate -- up 5.6 percentage points from 2025 -- over 155 plate appearances.

Ryan McMahon 3B | NYY
Yankees' Ryan McMahon: Hitting bench against southpaw
McMahon is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Blue Jays.
Lefty Patrick Corbin is starting the game for Toronto, so the left-handed-hitting McMahon will bow out of the lineup as Amed Rosario receives the nod at third base. McMahon has gone 0-for-23 over his last six starts, bringing his batting average down to .183 on the season.

Kyle Farmer 3B | ATL
Braves' Kyle Farmer: Goes on IL with strained forearm
Atlanta placed Farmer on the 10-day injured list Monday with a right forearm strain.
He'll be eligible to return next week, but Farmer is without a firm timeline to be acitvated from the IL. Farmer has played sparingly for Atlanta this season, picking up four hits in 14 at-bats.

Patrick Wisdom 3B | SEA
Mariners' Patrick Wisdom: Activated from injured list
The Mariners activated Wisdom (oblique) from the 10-day injured list Monday.
Wisdom was shelved for the last month of action with a left oblique strain but has been deemed ready to roll after playing eight rehab contests with Triple-A Tacoma. The 34-year-old is likely to serve primarily in a reserve role for Seattle.

Eugenio Suarez DH | CIN
Reds' Eugenio Suarez: Rehab assignment coming
Suarez (oblique) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Louisville on Wednesday, Charlie Goldsmith of Fox 19 Now Cincinnati reports.
Suarez's recovery from a left oblique strain has come along more slowly than anticipated, but he's finally progressed to the point of being cleared to play in games. The veteran slugger has been sidelined for nearly a month, so he will likely need a handful of rehab contests before returning from the 10-day injured list.

Otto Kemp LF | PHI
Phillies' Otto Kemp: Summoned from Triple-A
The Phillies recalled Kemp from Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Monday.
Philadelphia is scheduled to face off against a pair of lefty starters (Nick Lodolo and Andrew Abbott) during its three-game series with Cincinnati to begin the week, so Kemp will provide the big club with an extra right-handed bat. While he's up with the big club, Kemp could be a candidate to fill the short side of a platoon with Bryson Stott in the infield or Justin Crawford or Brandon Marsh in the outfield.

Gage Workman 3B | DET
Tigers' Gage Workman: Heading to bench Monday
Workman is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Guardians.
After starting in three of the Tigers' previous four games, Workman will retreat to the bench while Detroit opens up a spot in the infield for Zack Short, who will cover shortstop in the series opener. Since being called up from Triple-A Toledo on May 10, Workman is getting on base at a weak .227 clip but has made his five hits count, smacking two home runs and a pair of doubles while driving in five runs.

Matt Chapman 3B | SF
Giants' Matt Chapman: Logs two doubles in win
Chapman went 2-for-4 with two doubles, a walk, a run scored and an RBI in Sunday's 10-1 win over the Athletics.
Chapman hit an RBI double in the third inning, drew an intentional walk in the eighth before coming around to score and added another two-bagger in the ninth. He recorded his first multi-hit performance since May 10, when he tallied two doubles against the Pirates. The veteran third baseman has struggled in May, slashing .123/.180/.211 with five doubles, four RBI, a run scored and a 32.8 percent strikeout rate across 61 plate appearances on the month.

Jose Ramirez 3B | CLE
Guardians' Jose Ramirez: Homers during blowout win
Ramirez went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run, two walks and an additional run scored in Sunday's 10-3 win over the Reds.
Ramirez took Tejay Antone deep for a two-run homer in the eighth inning that capped Cleveland's offensive outburst Sunday. The blast was his seventh homer of the season and his first in 24 games after he homered six times over his first 24 contests. While the superstar third baseman hasn't fully returned to his usual elite offensive form -- batting .229 with 19 RBI in 48 games -- he still holds an impressive .358 OBP and leads MLB with 20 stolen bases.
