  • Jonah Bride 3B | TEX

Athletics' Jonah Bride: Recalled from Triple-A

Oakland recalled Bride from Triple-A Las Vegas on Thursday.

This is the corresponding move for Ryan Noda, who went on the injured list Wednesday due to a fractured jaw. Bride has posted excellent offensive numbers at Triple-A over the last two seasons, but the 27-year-old infielder owns a weak .202/.306/.239 career batting line through his first 250 major-league plate appearances.

  • Isaac Paredes 3B | HOU

Rays' Isaac Paredes: Taking seat Thursday

Paredes is not in the lineup for Thursday's game versus the Orioles.

The Rays are going with Taylor Walls at third base after Paredes was at the hot corner the previous two nights. Paredes has hit four home runs in his first 10 contests this month.

  • Ramon Urias 3B | STL

Orioles' Ramon Urias: Drives in three

Urias went 2-for-3 with two doubles, a walk and three RBI in Wednesday's 8-5 win over the Dodgers.

Urias has gone 11-for-37 (.297) in July with a home run, six doubles and nine RBI. The infielder continues to lack an everyday position in the lineup, but he's most often played at third base of late while providing cover around the infield as necessary. His solid hitting has helped him stay in the lineup more often than fellow utility man Jorge Mateo as the Orioles also try to keep Jordan Westburg and Adam Frazier in the mix. Urias has a .263/.332/.406 slash line with four homers, 33 RBI, 29 runs scored, 19 doubles and three stolen bases over 241 plate appearances.

  • Orioles' Gunnar Henderson: Smacks homer in win

Henderson went 1-for-3 with a solo home run, a walk and three total runs scored in Wednesday's 8-5 win over the Dodgers.

Henderson provided the Orioles' last run of the game with his fifth-inning blast. While he has just two multi-hit efforts in July, he's been consistent by batting .271 with only three hitless games this month. The infielder is up to 15 long balls, 41 RBI, 49 runs scored, five stolen bases and a .247/.343/.472 slash line on the year. He's batting .299 with a .948 OPS, 10 homers and 27 RBI since the start of June.

  • J.D. Davis 1B | LAA

Giants' J.D. Davis: Out again Thursday

Davis (illness) remains out of the lineup for Thursday's game in Cincinnati, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

He's battling a stomach bug and will miss a second straight start. Slusser notes that Davis said pregame that he's feeling better, so perhaps he'll be ready to play Friday against the Nationals. David Villar is at third base Thursday.

  • Red Sox's Rafael Devers: Hitless in return

Devers started at third base and went 0-for-4 in Wednesday's 6-5 loss to Oakland.

Devers returned to the lineup after missing the two previous games with a calf injury. Prior to the injury, Devers was in a groove, going 10-for-27 with four doubles, three home runs and seven RBI over seven contests. The Red Sox are off Thursday and will return to action Friday at home against the Mets.

  • Brett Baty 3B | NYM

Mets' Brett Baty: Homers again Wednesday

Baty went 1-for-3 with a home run, two runs scored and two RBI in Wednesday's 5-1 win over the White Sox.

The 23-year-old third baseman went yard for the second straight day, this time taking Touki Toussaint deep for a solo shot in the third inning. Baty is batting just .200 (7-for-35) in July with a 1:14 BB:K, but he still has an everyday role for the Mets and has significant upside if he can begin to solve big-league pitching.

  • Jace Peterson SS | ARI

Athletics' Jace Peterson: Busy at plate in win

Peterson went 1-for-2 with a two-run home run, two walks and an additional run in a win over the Red Sox on Wednesday.

Peterson's homer in the fourth inning with Shea Langeliers aboard plated the final two runs of the game for the Athletics. The veteran's start was his first since Sunday, and the productive day extended a brief surge that's now seen Peterson go 5-for-13 with a double, three RBI, four walks, a stolen base and four total runs in his last six games.

  • Max Muncy 3B | LAD

Dodgers' Max Muncy: Homers in loss

Muncy went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer in Wednesday's loss against Baltimore.

Muncy crushed a 431-foot homer to center field in the top of the fifth to score Freddie Freeman and bring the Dodgers back within two runs of Baltimore. The third baseman had gone 0-for-13 at the plate over his previous three games coming in and is still batting just .180 in July after batting .111 through all of June. He does, however, have four long balls this month to go along with eight RBI and 10 runs scored.

  • Eugenio Suarez 3B | CIN

Mariners' Eugenio Suarez: Stays hot in loss

Suarez went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Wednesday's 6-3 loss to the Twins.

Suarez homered for the third straight game, and he's now swatted six of his 14 homers this season during July. The third baseman is still slugging just .394 on the year, his lowest mark since his rookie year in 2014, but he's certainly trending in the right direction. He's added 58 RBI, 40 runs scored, a stolen base and 15 doubles while batting .226 through 95 contests.
