Ryan McMahon 3B | NYY
Rockies' Ryan McMahon: Two more hits in loss
McMahon went 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored in Thursday's loss against the Diamondbacks.
McMahon's been on an absolute tear of late -- he's now batting .500 (15-for-30) with four home runs and eight extra-base hits over his last eight games. He's boosted his slash line to .255/.336/.475 over 226 plate appearances this season with eight homers, 29 runs scored, 31 RBI and four stolen bases.

Jeimer Candelario 3B | LAA
Nationals' Jeimer Candelario: Big day against Dodgers
Candelario went 2-for-3 with two walks, a home run, three RBI and a stolen base in Wednesday's win over the Dodgers.
He took Noah Syndergaard deep in the fifth inning for his seventh homer of the year, but his seventh-inning steal was his first of 2023. Candelario turned things around in a big way in the second half of May, slashing .404/.485/.737 over his last 15 games with three homers and 11 RBI, and while the 29-year-old was signed in the offseason to be something of a stopgap at third base, he's proving to be a steadying force for a young Nationals infield.

Royce Lewis 3B | MIN
Twins' Royce Lewis: Bangs clutch homer
Lewis went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in a 7-6 victory against the Guardians on Thursday.
Lewis went hitless through his first three at-bats but came through with a big hit in his final trip to the plate, tying the game with a 421-foot shot to center field in the eighth inning. It was his second homer since making his season debut for Minnesota on May 29 following a lengthy recovery period due to last year's ACL tear. Lewis excelled in a minor-league rehab stint and appears to be locked in as the Twins' primary third baseman, starting at the hot corner three times through four games since being activated from the 60-day IL.

Anthony Rendon 3B | LAA
Angels' Anthony Rendon: Takes grounders and BP
Rendon (groin) took batting practice and fielded grounders Thursday, Sam Blum of The Athletic reports.
Blum notes, however, that Rendon did not make any throws across the diamond. It's possible he's dealing with some sort of physical issue beyond the left groin strain that sent him to the injured list in mid-May. Nonetheless, the current belief is that the third baseman will be back on the Angels' active roster at some point during their next homestand, which runs from June 6-11.

Matt Chapman 3B | SF
Blue Jays' Matt Chapman: Clubs eighth homer
Chapman went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run and a walk during Thursday's 3-1 win against the Brewers.
Chapman took Freddy Peralta deep during the opening frame and is now 5-for-13 with two doubles, a homer and four runs over his past four contests. The veteran third baseman was named the AL Player of the Month after an explosive April but fell flat in May with a .585 OPS. Overall this year Chapman has a .289/.368/.502 slash line with 21 doubles, eight home runs, two stolen bases, 30 RBI and 30 runs in 56 games.

Josh Donaldson 3B | MIL
Yankees' Josh Donaldson: Returns from injured list
Donaldson was activated from the 10-day injured list Thursday.
Donaldson first injured his right hamstring back in early April and aggravated the injury on his initial rehab assignment. Things went smoother during his more recent rehab games, though, and he's ready to rejoin the Yankees' lineup. Manager Aaron Boone has said that Donaldson will be an everyday player, although it's possible he'll receive extra days off initially following a long layoff.

Kevin Newman 3B | LAA
Reds' Kevin Newman: Another leadoff look Thursday
Newman is in the leadoff spot again Thursday at Boston.
Newman also batted at the top of the Reds' lineup Wednesday and went 2-for-4 with a run scored. He's slashing .323/.417/.387 in 72 plate appearances since the beginning of May and has recently become Cincinnati's preferred tablesetter versus left-handed pitching opponents. Chris Sale is on the bump for the Red Sox on Thursday.

Jose Ramirez 3B | CLE
Guardians' Jose Ramirez: Knocks three hits
Ramirez went 3-for-6 with two doubles, one RBI and two runs scored in Wednesday's 12-8 win over the Orioles.
Ramirez remains one of the Guardians' top hitters. He's gone 10-for-29 (.345) with four doubles and four RBI during his active six-game hitting streak. With the team around him struggling, he's taken a slight knock to his counting stats with 29 RBI and 28 runs scored this season. He's added six home runs, five stolen bases, 16 doubles, two triples and a .277/.348/.465 slash line through 52 contests. While Ramirez's .813 OPS is his lowest since 2019, he's more than capable of a strong stretch of power hitting to get him back in line with his career norms.
-
Cam Collier 3B | CIN
Reds' Cam Collier: Not overmatched at Single-A
Collier is hitting .230 with a .336 OBP, four home runs and three steals in 37 games for Single-A Daytona.
Collier, who doesn't turn 19 until November, is the fourth-youngest qualified hitter at Single-A. He hasn't put up gaudy numbers, but it's impressive that he has been better than league average (107 wRC+) while keeping the strikeouts in check (22.1 K%) in his full-season debut.

Taylor Walls 3B | TB
Rays' Taylor Walls: Tallies 15th stolen base
Walls went 0-for-2 with two walks, a run scored and a stolen base Wednesday against the Cubs.
Walls got a rare start at shortstop with Wander Franco (shoulder) sidelined, though he has been a regular in the lineup playing both second and third base. He tallied his 15th stolen base of the season Wednesday, six of which have come in his last five starts. Walls' primary path to fantasy value is his speed, though he also has 29 runs scored across 44 games, aided by a strong .349 on-base percentage.
