Bregman went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in a 3-1 win against Oakland on Thursday.

Bregman gave the Astros an insurance run in the ninth inning with his 397-foot solo shot. The long ball was his second of the second half, and he's hit well overall since the All-Star break with a .333/.379/.630 slash line, four extra-base hits and four RBI through six games. Bregman is still batting a modest .247 on the campaign, but he's walked just one fewer time than he's struck out and ranks second on the team with 60 RBI.

Bernabel (back) was activated from the injured list July 14 and returned to the active roster for Double-A Hartford.

Bernabel had been sidelined for nearly two months with the back issue. He's struggled across his first 141 plate appearances with Hartford, managing just a .635 OPS. However, he's shown decent plate discipline with a 17.7 percent strikeout rate and 6.6 percent walk rate, so it's possible he sees better results moving forward.

Madrigal (hamstring) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Iowa on Friday, Taylor McGregor of Marquee Sports Network reports.

Since landing on the injured list July 4 with a strained right hamstring, Madrigal has recently began making progress toward a return. He resumed hitting and fielding Monday, ran the bases Wednesday and is now slated to get back into game action. It's unlikely Madrigal returns before the end of Chicago's weekend series against the Cardinals, but he could return ahead of the Cubs' upcoming series with the White Sox.

Donaldson (calf) was transferred Thursday from the 15-day injured list to the 60-day injured list.

This move frees up a 40-man roster spot for reliever Matt Bowman, who was re-signed Thursday to a major-league contract. Donaldson was diagnosed earlier this week with a high-grade right calf strain and might struggle to make it back to the Yankees before the end of the regular season.

Oakland recalled Bride from Triple-A Las Vegas on Thursday.

This is the corresponding move for Ryan Noda, who went on the injured list Wednesday due to a fractured jaw. Bride has posted excellent offensive numbers at Triple-A over the last two seasons, but the 27-year-old infielder owns a weak .202/.306/.239 career batting line through his first 250 major-league plate appearances.

Paredes is not in the lineup for Thursday's game versus the Orioles.

The Rays are going with Taylor Walls at third base after Paredes was at the hot corner the previous two nights. Paredes has hit four home runs in his first 10 contests this month.

Urias went 2-for-3 with two doubles, a walk and three RBI in Wednesday's 8-5 win over the Dodgers.

Urias has gone 11-for-37 (.297) in July with a home run, six doubles and nine RBI. The infielder continues to lack an everyday position in the lineup, but he's most often played at third base of late while providing cover around the infield as necessary. His solid hitting has helped him stay in the lineup more often than fellow utility man Jorge Mateo as the Orioles also try to keep Jordan Westburg and Adam Frazier in the mix. Urias has a .263/.332/.406 slash line with four homers, 33 RBI, 29 runs scored, 19 doubles and three stolen bases over 241 plate appearances.

Henderson went 1-for-3 with a solo home run, a walk and three total runs scored in Wednesday's 8-5 win over the Dodgers.

Henderson provided the Orioles' last run of the game with his fifth-inning blast. While he has just two multi-hit efforts in July, he's been consistent by batting .271 with only three hitless games this month. The infielder is up to 15 long balls, 41 RBI, 49 runs scored, five stolen bases and a .247/.343/.472 slash line on the year. He's batting .299 with a .948 OPS, 10 homers and 27 RBI since the start of June.

Davis (illness) remains out of the lineup for Thursday's game in Cincinnati, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

He's battling a stomach bug and will miss a second straight start. Slusser notes that Davis said pregame that he's feeling better, so perhaps he'll be ready to play Friday against the Nationals. David Villar is at third base Thursday.

Devers started at third base and went 0-for-4 in Wednesday's 6-5 loss to Oakland.

Devers returned to the lineup after missing the two previous games with a calf injury. Prior to the injury, Devers was in a groove, going 10-for-27 with four doubles, three home runs and seven RBI over seven contests. The Red Sox are off Thursday and will return to action Friday at home against the Mets.
