Jonah Bride 3B | TEX
Athletics' Jonah Bride: Out of Tuesday's lineup
Bride is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Marlins.
Bride has a .610 OPS through 16 games in August and will take a seat after starting the previous four contests. Tony Kemp will move to second base while Seth Brown and Chad Pinder start in the corner outfield spots.

J.D. Davis 1B | LAA
Giants' J.D. Davis: Heads to bench
Davis is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Tigers, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Davis has produced a .961 OPS since being acquired from the Mets on Aug. 2, but he may have to settle for a part-time role now that the Giants have recently returned all of their key position players from the injured list. The righty-hitting Davis should be a fixture in the lineup versus left-handed pitching, but his opportunities against right-handers may be more spotty.

Nick Maton DH | CHW
Phillies' Nick Maton: On bench against lefty
Maton is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Reds.
The lefty-hitting Maton will take a seat against southpaw Nick Lodolo, ending a streak of three consecutive starts for the 25-year-old. With Philadelphia optioning Darick Hall to Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Monday, Maton could have a path to playing time against right-handed pitching in the short term, but his opportunities will likely take a hit when Bryce Harper (thumb) returns from the 60-day injured list next week.

Gunnar Henderson SS | BAL
Orioles' Gunnar Henderson: Promotion not coming Tuesday
Henderson will be in the lineup and playing second base Tuesday for Triple-A Norfolk, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.
As of Tuesday, Henderson can officially be recalled from Triple-A without exhausting his prospect eligibility for 2023 via days on the active roster, but he would need to have no more than 130 at-bats over the rest of the season. There have been rumors that he will join the big-league club sometime this week, so Henderson, a top-three prospect in the game, should be rostered as a speculative add in most redraft leagues at this point.

Ramon Urias 3B | STL
Orioles' Ramon Urias: Not starting Tuesday
Urias is not in the lineup Tuesday against the White Sox, Rich Dubroff of BaltimoreBaseball.com reports.
Urias has gone 8-for-22 with four runs and three RBI in his last six contests. While Urias sits Tuesday, Rougned Odor will slide to third base and Terrin Vavra will start at second base.

Ke'Bryan Hayes 3B | CIN
Pirates' Ke'Bryan Hayes: Returns from IL
The Pirates activated Hayes (back) from the 10-day injured list Tuesday. He'll start at third base and bat third Tuesday against Atlanta.
As expected, it was a brief stay on the IL for Hayes, who hasn't played since Aug. 11 due to a minor back injury. Barring another injury, Hayes, who's slashed .297/.350/.405 with six RBI in 10 games this month, should be an everyday staple near the top of Pittsburgh's lineup.

Brian Anderson RF | ATL
Marlins' Brian Anderson: Reaches base three times in win
Anderson went 1-for-3 with two walks and an RBI double in Monday's 3-0 win over the Athletics.
Anderson has settled in as the Marlins' primary right fielder since being activated from the injured list just over a week ago, but he was deployed as the designated hitter in Monday's series opener. Though he's turned in an underwhelming .660 OPS in his first nine games back from the IL, Anderson should benefit from steady playing time while all of Avisail Garcia (hamstring), Garrett Cooper (concussion), Jorge Soler (back) and Jazz Chisholm (back) are on the shelf.

Nick Madrigal 3B | LAA
Cubs' Nick Madrigal: Sitting for early game
Madrigal is out of the lineup for the first game of Tuesday's doubleheader with the Cardinals.
Zach McKinstry will man second base and handle leadoff duties while Madrigal gets a breather for the early game of the twin bill. Madrigal led off in each of the Cubs' last five games, going 6-for-21 with a walk, three runs and an RBI.
