The Rangers optioned Huff to Triple-A Round Rock on Wednesday.

Texas needed to clear a spot on the 26-man roster for the return of shortstop Corey Seager (hamstring/illness) from the 10-day injured list, and Huff ended up being the odd man out since the Rangers already have two other available options at catcher (Jonah Heim and Sandy Leon). During his week-long stay with Texas, Huff appeared in five games and went 2-for-10 with a walk and an RBI.

Maldonado is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Cubs.

Maldonado will take a seat after he went hitless over seven at-bats in the first two games of the series. He'll give way to Yainer Diaz, who is catching for starting pitcher J.P. France in the series finale.

Langeliers is not in the starting lineup against Arizona on Wednesday.

Langeliers went just 1-for-9 in the first two games of the series against the D-Backs, and he'll get a breather Wednesday with Carlos Perez hitting fifth while handling catching duties.

Vazquez is not in the starting lineup against the Dodgers on Tuesday.

Vazquez has gone 5-for-9 over his last two games while seeing his average rise from .212 to .245 in the process, but he'll take a seat against Clayton Kershaw and the Dodgers on Tuesday. Ryan Jeffers is starting behind the plate and hitting sixth.

Grandal (hamstring) is starting Tuesday against the Guardians.

Right hamstring tightness has kept Grandal out of Chicago's lineup for the past three games, but he's now ready to resume catching duties after a few days of rest. The 34-year-old backstop was slashing .296/.333/.353 in his last five games prior to injury.

Jansen is starting at catcher and batting seventh for the Blue Jays on Tuesday against the Yankees, Mike Wilner of the Toronto Star reports.

He'll be behind the plate for Kevin Gausman while Alejandro Kirk grabs some pine. Jansen has now started three of the last four contests.

Wallach went 3-for-5 with a solo home run in Monday's 9-5 win over the Orioles.

Wallach was activated off the 7-day injured list and made his first start Monday since May 6. The catcher looked sharp in his return, recording his first three-hit game of the season while hitting his first home run since April 24. Matt Thaiss will likely get the bulk of starts at catcher when the Angels are facing right-handed pitching, but Wallach is the clear No. 2 with Max Stassi (personal/hip) and Logan O'Hoppe (shoulder) both unavailable for the foreseeable future.

Raleigh went 3-for-5 with two home runs, three total runs and four total RBI in Monday's 10-1 rout of the Red Sox.

After the two teams played to a scoreless draw through four innings, Raleigh broke the tie with a mammoth 438-foot two-run shot off righty Tanner Houck. The switch hitter then flipped to the other side of the plate against southpaw Brennan Bernardino in the sixth and hit another two-run shot, this time a 434-footer. In doing so, Raleigh became the first catcher ever to homer from both sides of the plate at Fenway Park, per Jon Morosi of MLB Network. The backstop is up to seven long balls and 22 RBI on the campaign after belting 27 homers and driving in 63 runs in his first full MLB campaign last season.

Trevino is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Blue Jays.

Trevino will give way to Kyle Higashioka, who is catching for starting pitcher Jimmy Cordero in the series opener with Toronto. Over 11 games in May, Trevino has gone 4-for-30 with a home run, five runs and three RBI.
