Jonah Heim C | ATH
Rangers' Jonah Heim: Bat coming alive
Heim went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 5-1 loss to the Rays.
Heim's fourth-inning homer accounted for all the offense, as the Rangers went 0-for-6 with runners in scoring position. The solo shot extended his hitting streak to three games, during which he's 4-for-12 with two home runs. It's a sign of life from a bat that produced an .070 batting average (3-for-43) over the 14 games preceding his hit streak.

Mariners' Cal Raleigh: Returns to lineup
Raleigh (thumb) is starting Saturday against the Angels.

Jose Trevino C | CIN
Yankees' Jose Trevino: Not starting Saturday
Trevino (knee) will sit Saturday against the Brewers.
Trevino left Friday's series opener after taking a foul tip off his right knee. While that may explain his absence Saturday, it's also possible he's merely having a routine off day, as he'd started three consecutive games behind the plate. Kyle Higashioka will be Jameson Taillon's catcher Saturday.
-
Martin Maldonado C | SD
Astros' Martin Maldonado: Not starting Saturday
Maldonado isn't in the lineup Saturday against the Athletics.
Maldonado went 1-for-4 with an RBI and a strikeout Friday and will retreat to the bench for the third time in the last four games. Christian Vazquez will start behind the dish and bat eighth.

Blue Jays' Alejandro Kirk: Sitting again Saturday
Kirk (hip) isn't starting Saturday against the Orioles.

Adley Rutschman C | BOS
Orioles' Adley Rutschman: Homers in Friday's loss
Rutschman went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Friday's 6-3 loss to the Blue Jays.
Rutschman put the Orioles ahead 2-1 with his fourth-inning blast, but the lead was short-lived. It's been a slow week for Rutschman, who has gone 3-for-20 with a homer and a double over his last six games. The catcher is up to 11 homers, 34 RBI, 61 runs scored and three stolen bases while slashing .251/.358/.447 through his first 95 major-league contests.
