Trevino is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Royals.

Trevino will sit for the third time in four games and may have slipped to the No. 2 spot behind Kyle Higashioka on the depth chart at catcher during his ongoing slump at the dish. Dating back to April 16, Trevino has gone hitless in 14 at-bats.

Jeffers is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rays.

With Gary Sanchez returning from an abdominal injury over the weekend, Jeffers looks as though he'll fade into more of a part-time role after starting 11 times in 13-game stretch from April 15 to April 28. He'll now sit for the second time in the series while Sanchez draws the start behind the plate.

Collins is not in the lineup Sunday against the Astros.

Collins hasn't been an everyday starter at designated hitter this season, but he still leads Toronto in starts with seven. Lourdes Gurriel will bat cleanup as the DH on Sunday, while Vinny Capra starts in left field.

Mejia (illness) rejoined the Rays on Sunday after completing a quarantine and clearing all virus-related protocols, but he remains on the COVID-19 injured list, Neil Solondz of the Rays Radio Network reports.

Because he's been away from the team for just over a week, Mejia may need a few days to regain conditioning before the Rays are comfortable adding him back to the active roster. Whenever Mejia is ready to go, he'll replace Rene Pinto as the top backup behind No. 1 catcher Mike Zunino.

Huff went 1-for-3 with an RBI in Saturday's 3-1 win over Atlanta.

Huff, who was called up Thursday when Jonah Heim was added to the paternity list, made his first start. Heim's leave was scheduled to end Saturday, so Huff may return to Triple-A Round Rock on Sunday.

Barnhart will sit Saturday against the Dodgers.

Barnhart had just two hits in his first seven games of the year but has since gone 8-for-20 in his last six games. He'll get a rest Saturday as Dustin Garneau takes over behind the plate.

Garver isn't starting Saturday's game against Atlanta.

Garver will get a day off after he went 3-for-11 with a solo homer, a walk and three strikeouts over his last three games. Sam Huff is starting behind the dish and batting ninth.

Vazquez isn't starting Saturday against Baltimore, Chris Cotillo of The Springfield Republican reports.

Vazquez started in the last two games and went 1-for-6 with a strikeout. Kevin Plawecki is starting behind the dish and batting eighth.

Murphy isn't starting Saturday's game against the Guardians.

Murphy had started every game this season, but he'll get a breather after he hit .100 with a homer, three RBI, two runs and a walk over his last five appearances. Austin Allen will start behind the dish and bat sixth.

Stassi will sit Saturday against the White Sox, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.

Stassi remains the No. 1 catcher in Anaheim, though not by a particularly wide margin. He's made 13 starts behind the plate this season, while Saturday's starter, Kurt Suzuki, has made nine.
