Bethancourt went 3-for-5 with a two-run home run, an RBI single and an additional run scored in Saturday's victory over the Guardians.

Bethancourt kicked off Saturday's game with an RBI single that sent Tony Kemp home. The first baseman later scored on a Seth Brown homer and picked up a solo shot of his own in the top of the ninth inning. Bethancourt went homerless through May, but he has three since the start of June. He's certainly picked things up this month with a hit in five of his last seven games to the tune of a .391 June batting average.

Zavala is traveling to Chicago on Saturday and is expected to join the active roster ahead of Sunday's game against the Rangers, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Zavala was outrighted off the roster prior to Opening Day, but he'll be needed again with Yasmani Grandal (hamstring) unavailable for at least Sunday's contest. If Grandal's injury sends him to the injured list, Zavala will be his direct replacement on the roster, but the White Sox still intend to call up Zavala temporarily even if Grandal only has to miss a day or two, as the team doesn't want to go into a game with Reese McGuire as the only healthy catcher.

Rutschman went 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles and two runs scored in Saturday's 6-4 win over the Royals.

This was Rutschman's first three-hit game in his young career, as well as his first contest with multiple extra-base hits. The 24-year-old catcher is 5-for-24 in seven games in June as he's struggled to adjust to major-league pitching. He's at a .190/.261/.286 slash line with seven runs scored, but he's still in search of his first home run and RBI 17 games into his career.

Grandal (hamstring) won't be available Sunday, James Fegan of The Athletic reports.

Grandal left Saturday's game against the Rangers after injuring his left hamstring while running to first base. It's not yet clear whether he'll require a trip to the injured list, but the White Sox are expected to add a catcher to the active roster Sunday to avoid going into the series finale with only Reese McGuire available behind the plate.

Collins was optioned to Triple-A Buffalo on Saturday, Ben Nicholson-Smith of Sportsnet.ca reports.

Collins was called up from Buffalo earlier in the week, but he will head back to Buffalo with top prospect Gabriel Moreno ready to join the big club.

Moreno was called up by the Blue Jays on Saturday.

It was reported earlier in the week that Moreno would likely make his big-league debut at some point this weekend, and with him now on the active roster he is now in position to do so. It's unclear exactly what role Moreno will fill, but he is one of the top prospects in the league, so he figures to get ample opportunities to show what he can do.

Maldonado went 2-for-4 with a double Friday against the Marlins.

Maldonado snapped a 15 at-bat hitless stretch with a single in the fifth inning, and he followed that up with a double to lead off the eighth frame. He's collected at least one hit in five of his last 10 starts, but is still hitting only .206 with three RBI and four runs scored in that span. Overall, Maldonado has just a .215 wOBA and 39 wRC+ across 149 plate appearances on the season.

Kirk went 2-for-4 with a double, two RBI and a run scored in Friday's win over the Tigers.

Kirk doubled home Bo Bichette in the top of the first inning and sent Vladimir Guerrero Jr. home on a single in the sixth. The catcher was able to score on a fifth-inning double from Lourdes Gurriel Jr. Kirk is off to a scorching start to June, batting .429 this month after a hit in his last six games, including four multi-hit performances. In 13 games since May 23, he's only gone hitless once.
