Rogers is starting at catcher and batting eighth in Wednesday's game against the Orioles.

With Dillon Dingler getting a breather following two straight starts, Rogers will slide into Wednesday's lineup. The latter is struggling at the plate this season with a .139/.244/.194 slash line and no home runs, making him an unattractive fantasy option while Dingler continues to see the bulk of the starts at catcher.

Dingler is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Orioles, Evan Woodbery of MLive.com reports.

Dingler will get a routine day of rest after he had started behind the plate in the Tigers' previous two contests. Jake Rogers will handle the catching duties for Detroit.

Jeffers is not in the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Rangers.

Jeffers and Christian Vazquez have been alternating starts at catcher throughout June thus far. Vazquez will get a turn behind the dish Wednesday, but Jeffers will most likely start at catcher in Thursday's series finale.

O'Hoppe is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Athletics, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.

Travis d'Arnaud will start behind the plate Wednesday while O'Hoppe rests for the second time in the series after also sitting out Monday's 7-4 win. Since May 25, O'Hoppe has gone 3-for-38 with 13 strikeouts, so the Angels could end up turning the catcher position into more of a timeshare until O'Hoppe returns to form at the plate.

MacIver will start at catcher and bat eighth in Wednesday's game against the Angels.

MacIver will pick up his fifth start in seven games and looks poised to operate as the Athletics' primary backstop until Shea Langeliers (oblique) is cleared to return from the injured list. Since getting his first MLB call-up May 23, MacIver has gone 5-for-24 (.208 average) with a 1:7 BB:K, one double, one stolen base, two runs and two RBI through eight big-league games.

Naylor is not in the lineup for Wednesday's game versus the Reds.

Naylor started each of the previous four contests, so he's earned a breather for Wednesday's matinee. Dom Nunez will start at catcher and bat eighth for Cleveland.

Kirk went 3-for-5 with a two-run home run and two additional runs scored in Tuesday's win over the Cardinals.

The 26-year-old backstop is enjoying his trip to St. Louis, homering in back-to-back contests to begin the series as part of a seven-hit barrage. Kirk has hit safely in six straight games and nine of his last 10, slashing a blistering .475/.511/.725 over the latter stretch with eight runs scored and 12 RBI.

Hedges (concussion) resumed baseball activities Tuesday, MLB.com reports.

Hedges is progressing after being struck by the backswing of Jazz Chisholm during a game one week ago. He's eligible to come off the 7-day concussion IL on Friday.

Quero went 1-for-4 with two RBI against the Astros on Tuesday.

Quero has alternated starts consistently since May 31, most recently with Kyle Teel. Both were in the lineup Tuesday, with Quero at designated hitter and Teel behind the plate. Quero has RBI in three consecutive games while collecting at least one hit in five consecutive appearances.

D'Arnaud hit a solo home run in his lone at-bat in Tuesday's 2-1 extra-inning win over the Athletics.

D'Arnaud was on the bench to begin Tuesday's contest, but he delivered the game-tying homer as a pinch hitter in the eighth inning. He's homered twice while going 6-for-12 over four games in June. The veteran catcher is up to a .234/.287/.394 slash line with three homers, seven RBI, five runs scored and six doubles over 101 plate appearances. Even with a strong run of form at the plate, it's unlikely d'Arnaud displaces Logan O'Hoppe as the Angels' starting catcher.
