Cardinals' Willson Contreras: Nursing hip issue
Contreras left Monday's game against Oakland with right hip tightness, John Denton of MLB.com reports.

Sean Murphy C | ATL
Braves' Sean Murphy: Not in lineup Monday

Sean Murphy C | ATL
Braves' Sean Murphy: Slugs homer No. 20
Murphy went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's loss to the Mets.
He took Grant Hartwig deep in the seventh inning, giving Murphy his first career 20-homer season. The catcher has been splitting the workload nearly equally with Travis d'Arnaud lately, but the extra rest hasn't caused Murphy to slow down at the plate -- he's batting .269 (7-for-26) with three home runs, six RBI and seven runs scored while starting seven of 13 games in August.

Patrick Bailey C | SF
Giants' Patrick Bailey: Supplies walk-off home run
Bailey went 2-for-5 with a walk-off two-run homer in Sunday's extra-inning win over the Rangers.
The Giants were down to their final out after they had been winning all game before allowing the Rangers to push it to an extra inning. Bailey timed up an inside fastball from Will Smith perfectly and sent a laser to left field that just cleared the wall. It was his first home run since June 30, and he's now posted nine hits over his last 21 at-bats. Bailey had a rough month of July but has certainly turned things around this month and is now slashing .323/.447/.452 with seven RBI, four runs and a 7:7 BB:K through 38 plate appearances in August.
