Realmuto left Friday's game against the Rockies with a sprained right pinky, Alex Coffey of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports. He went 1-for-2 before leaving.

Realmuto was unable to continue after the seventh inning and was replaced by Garrett Stubbs. For now Realmuto should be considered day-to-day, but it's very likely he'll miss at least a game or two while recovering, and a trip to the injured list can't be ruled out.

Campusano underwent ligament surgery on his left thumb Friday and he'll be out at least two months, Dennis Lin of The Athletic reports.

Campusano will likely now be held out until after the All-Star break. The backstop appeared to be making progress after catching for pitchers last weekend, but ultimately the Padres felt the best course was to have him undergo surgery now. With Campusano out, Austin Nola and Brett Sullivan will continue to share catching duties.

Nola is out of the starting lineup Friday against the Dodgers.

Brett Sullivan will catch and bat ninth versus the Dodgers and right-hander Dustin May. Nola has slashed just .135/.250/.192 this year off righties.

Bart is not in the starting lineup Friday versus the Diamondbacks.

Blake Sabol will catch and bat eighth. Bart had started three straight games behind the plate for the Giants prior to this night of rest.

D'Arnaud is starting in the designated hitter spot and batting seventh for Atlanta on Friday in Toronto, Grant McAuley of 929 The Game reports.

D'Arnaud has now started two of three since returning from the concussion injured list, with one coming at catcher and the other at DH. Sean Murphy will catch Spencer Strider, and Marcell Ozuna will be on the bench.

Alvarez is starting at catcher and batting ninth Thursday for the Mets' game against the Reds, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.

It's a day game after a night game and marks Alvarez's fifth start in a row. The young catcher is hitting .286/.348/.548 with three homers in his last 15 contests.

Adams went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in Wednesday's 11-6 victory over the Giants.

Adams last played May 4 versus the Cubs and went 0-for-3 with two strikeouts, but he drew the start Wednesday with Keibert Ruiz getting the night off. Adams made the most of his opportunity by extending the Nationals' lead to 4-0 with a three-run home run in the second inning, but he was retired in each of his final three at-bats. Ruiz should continue to see the majority of the starts behind the plate, but Adams' first long ball could help him draw a few more chances moving forward.

Contreras went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 8-1 loss to the Dodgers.

He was the only Milwaukee batter to solve Clayton Kershaw on the afternoon, connecting for his third homer of the year in the fourth inning before the game got out of hand. Contreras has hit a bit of a lull at the plate, batting .216 (8-for-37) over his last 10 games, but five of those hits have gone for extra bases (three doubles and two home runs.)

Smith went 1-for-4 with a walk and a solo home run in Wednesday's 8-1 win over the Brewers.

He went back-to-back with Freddie Freeman in the fourth inning to kick off the rout for the Dodgers. Smith has six hits in his last three games, with four of them going for extra bases (two doubles and two homers), and on the season the 28-year-old backstop is slashing a dazzling .325/.420/.625 with six long balls, 19 runs and 19 RBI through 22 contests.

Gomes went 3-for-3 with a walk and a two-run home run in Wednesday's 10-4 win over the Cardinals.

Gomes missed a little over a week due to a concussion, but he returned to the lineup with a bang Wednesday. The veteran catcher is now batting a robust .324, which would be a career high, with six home runs and 15 RBI in 20 games. Tucker Barnhart is also in the mix, though Gomes should see the larger share of playing time with the way he's been hitting.
