Narvaez is out of the lineup for Sunday's game versus the Reds.

Narvaez has a .447 OPS through 12 games in September and will take a seat Sunday with lefty Nick Lodolo pitching for Cincinnati. Victor Caratini will step in behind the plate and bat eighth.

Adams is out of the lineup for Sunday's game at Miami, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports.

Adams started the first two games of the series and will head to the bench after he went 0-for-7 with two strikeouts. Tres Barrera will take over behind the plate and bat ninth in the finale.

Smith went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a triple during Saturday's 6-2 victory over St. Louis.

Smith opened the scoring with a solo home run off St. Louis starter Jordan Montgomery in the first inning before adding his third triple of the season in the third. The multi-hit game was the 27-year-old's third in his last four games and he's batting 7-for-16 with a home run and two triples during the current hot streak. Smith's .257 average across 19 September contests represents one of his lowest marks of any month this season, but his .529 slugging is his second-best thanks to half of his 18 hits going for extra bases.

Gomes is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Pirates.

Gomes is hitless with six strikeouts in his past 16 at-bats and will take a seat Sunday for the second time in the past three games. P.J. Higgins will start behind the plate and bat seventh in the series finale at Pittsburgh.

Stallings is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Nationals, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.

Stallings is 6-for-18 over his past five contests but will take a seat Sunday for the third time in Miami's past four games. Nick Fortes will receive another start behind the plate.

Realmuto is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against Atlanta, Todd Zolecki of MLB.com reports.

Realmuto started the past five games and will take a seat Sunday after he went 9-for-22 with two home runs, three RBI, five runs and a stolen base during that span. Garrett Stubbs will step in behind the plate and bat ninth.

Mejia is not in Sunday's lineup against the Blue Jays.

Mejia is in a 4-for-27 (.148 AVG) slump over his last nine games. Christian Bethancourt will start behind the dish, hitting seventh.

Huff started at catcher and went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 4-2 loss to Cleveland.

Huff was the catcher du jour after sitting the previous two games. Jonah Heim and Kevin Plawecki made starts before Huff returned to the lineup. Since being called up in September, Huff is batting .207 (6-for-29) with two homers, one double, two walks, four RBI and two runs scored while striking out 32.3 percent of the time.

Contreras went 3-for-4 with a solo home run, an RBI single and a walk in a 6-3 victory over the Phillies on Saturday.

Contreras went deep off Bailey Falter for his 20th home run of 2022. It has been a breakout season for the young catcher, who has proven himself as one of top power bats at the thin position. Atlanta has given Contreras only 344 plate appearances this season, so he could be a 30-home run hitter with more playing time. The 24-year-old has a solid slash line of .279/.349/.519 on the campaign.

Sanchez went 1-for-3 with a home run and four RBI in Saturday's 8-4 win against the Angels.

Sanchez produced a sacrifice fly in the first inning and broke the game open in the fifth, slugging a 432-foot, three-run homer to give Minnesota a 7-3 lead. The long ball was his first since Sept. 5 -- a span of 17 games. Sanchez has struggled this month, slashing .174/.231/.290 with a 30.8 percent strikeout rate, though he has knocked in 12 runs over 22 games.
