Raleigh went 2-for-3 with a home run, a double and three total RBI in Saturday's 6-5 win against Kansas City.

Curt Casali got the start behind the plate for Seattle, but Raleigh came in to pinch hit for his fellow backstop in the sixth inning. The substitution paid immediate dividends, as Raleigh blasted a 444-foot two-run homer to right field to tie the score 5-5. He came through in the clutch again in the ninth inning, knocking a run-scoring double to plate the winning run. Raleigh leads all major-league catchers with 25 homers on the season and ranks sixth at the position with 59 RBI.

Raleigh will be on the bench Saturday against the Royals.

Raleigh is a switch hitter, but he's been on the bench against the last four lefties the Mariners have faced, including Saturday's starter Kris Bubic. Curt Casali will get the nod behind the plate.

Haase isn't starting Saturday against the White Sox.

Haase continues to alternate starts behind the plate and will get a breather after going 2-for-4 with an RBI and a strikeout Friday. Tucker Barnhart will start at catcher and bat eighth.

Jansen isn't starting Saturday against the Rays.

Jansen started the last two games and went 1-for-6 with a run, an RBI and a walk. Alejandro Kirk will take over behind the plate and bat cleanup.

Diaz isn't starting Saturday against the Padres, Patrick Lyons of TheDNVR.com reports.

Diaz is on the bench for the second time in the last three games after he went 0-for-5 with a strikeout Friday. Brian Serven is starting behind the plate and batting ninth.

Wynns went 2-for-2 with a solo home run and a walk in Friday's 6-5 win over the Diamondbacks.

Wynns' bat has been hotter of late, as he's gone 8-for-17 (.471) with a homer and four RBI in his last six games. The backup catcher has a .248/.307/.336 slash line with two homers, 19 RBI, 12 runs scored and seven doubles through a career-high 60 games this year.

Trevino isn't in the lineup Saturday against Boston.

Trevino has gone 4-for-13 with a double, three RBI, a run and three strikeouts over the last four games but will head to the bench for the second time in the last three matchups. Kyle Higashioka is starting behind the plate and batting ninth.

Wong isn't starting Saturday against the Yankees, Christopher Smith of The Springfield Republican reports.

Wong has split playing time behind the dish recently and will head to the bench for a second consecutive matchup. Reese McGuire is starting at catcher and batting eighth.

Plawecki started at catcher and went 1-for-3 with an RBI in Friday's 6-3 loss to the Guardians.

Plawecki, who was signed by the Rangers this week after being DFA'd by Boston, delivered a two-out RBI in his first at-bat with the team. He joins a three-man catching crew, along with Jonah Heim and Sam Huff, that should finish out the season.

Raleigh went 1-for-3 with a solo home run, a walk and two strikeouts in a 5-1 loss to the Royals on Friday.

Raleigh's performance at the plate was a microcosm of his entire season: plenty of strikeouts combined with above-average power. The 25-year-old catcher has the second-most home runs hit from the position this year behind only Daulton Varsho. However, he also came into Friday night's game with an awful strikeout rate of 28.8%.
