  • Yan Gomes C | CHC

Cubs' Yan Gomes: Takes seat for matinee

Gomes isn't in the lineup for the first game of Saturday's doubleheader against the Mets.

  • Elias Diaz C | TEX

Rockies' Elias Diaz: Drives in three

Diaz went 2-for-4 with three RBI on Friday against the Pirates.

Diaz delivered run-scoring singles in the fourth and sixth frames and has tallied multiple hits in three consecutive starts -- all of which have come at Coors Field. Despite the hot stretch, Diaz still has just a 61 wRC+ and .275 wOBA across 222 plate appearances on the campaign. For the time being, he is splitting time evenly with Brian Serven behind the dish.

  • Phillies' J.T. Realmuto: Swipes 12th bag

Realmuto went 3-for-4 with a double, an RBI and a stolen base in Friday's 2-1 win over the Marlins.

The catcher had a big night against his former club, and his RBI double in the seventh inning wound up being the game-winning hit. Realmuto has picked up his offensive pace over the last month or so, slashing .267/.327/.422 over his last 25 games with four of his seven homers and six of his 12 steals on the year.

  • Cal Raleigh C | SEA

Mariners' Cal Raleigh: On base four times in win

Raleigh went 2-for-3 with two walks and two runs in a win over the Rangers on Friday.

The slugging backstop didn't garner any extra-base hits as he's usually prone to do, but Raleigh still came through with a rewarding performance for fantasy managers. The 25-year-old has now reached safely in four straight games, and Friday's performance pushed his average to .203, its highest point since April 14.

  • Joey Bart C | ATL

Giants' Joey Bart: Sparks rally with homer

Bart went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional run scored in Friday's 8-5 win over the Brewers.

Bart hit the first of three Giants home runs off Brewers closer Josh Hader in the ninth inning. The long ball was Bart's second in his last four games and his sixth of the season. The catcher is hitting .318 in nine contests since he rejoined the Giants on July 6. For the season, he's at a .188/.316/.375 slash line with 11 RBI, 18 runs scored and a stolen base through 133 plate appearances.

  • Austin Nola C | COL

Padres' Austin Nola: Registers second steal

Nola went 2-for-4 with two RBI, a stolen base and a run scored in Friday's 5-3 win over the Diamondbacks.

In the third, Nola grounded into a double play that led to another run, and he added a single and a steal in the fifth. The catcher has hit safely in his last five contests, going 6-for-16 (.375) in that span. He's posted a .242/.309/.309 slash line with two home runs, 25 RBI, 24 runs scored, eight doubles and a pair of steals through 236 plate appearances. Nola has started to push for more even playing time behind the dish, starting four of the last eight games while splitting the catching duties with Jorge Alfaro.

  • Rays' Christian Bethancourt: Slugs first homer with Rays

Bethancourt went 1-for-1 with a two-run home run Friday against the Orioles.

Bethancourt wasn't in the starting lineup, but he entered the game in the sixth inning and connected on his first homer with the Rays. He's alternated starts with Francisco Mejia since being formally added to the roster and has collected two hits in seven at-bats. For the season, Bethancourt is hitting .250/.298/.398 across 189 plate appearances, and he should benefit from improved lineup context for the rest of the season.
