The Pirates optioned Flores to Triple-A Indianapolis on Saturday, Danny Demilio of PittsburghBaseballNow.com reports.

Flores went 2-for-5 and notched his first MLB home run during his brief run with the Pirates, but he'll head back to Triple-A now that Henry Davis has returned from paternity leave. Flores could return to Pittsburgh later in the season if the big club's catcher depth is tested again, though most of his time will likely be spent in the minors.

The Pirates reinstated Davis from the paternity list Saturday, Danny Demilio of PittsburghBaseballNow.com reports.

Davis returns to the active roster after spending the past three days away from the team to welcome the birth of his first child. Rafael Flores was optioned to Triple-A Indianapolis in a corresponding move.

Kirk isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Yankees.

Kirk went 3-for-3 with a walk, two RBI and a run scored during his first game back from the IL on Friday, and he'll now retreat to the bench as the Jays look to ease him back into regular playing time. Brandon Valenzuela will fill in behind the plate and bat sixth.

Bailey went 2-for-3 with a walk and an RBI in Friday's 3-2 win over the Tigers.

Bailey had a two-out, run-scoring single in the second inning to give the Guardians an early lead. The catcher has never been known for his offense, but his bat has come around of late with hits in three straight starts (5-for-12). Overall, Bailey is slashing .196/.236/.353 over 18 games in a Guardians uniform.

Rodriguez went 2-for-4 with a double, a solo home run and a second run scored in Friday's 8-3 loss to the Marlins.

After sitting out Thursday's game due to a minor hip issue, Rodriguez looked plenty healthy in his return as he took Sandy Alcantara deep in the fifth inning. The 26-year-old catcher is slashing .240/.387/.420 in 19 games since joining the big-league roster in mid-May with two homers, two steals, six RBI and nine runs, making a solid case to remain part of the picture behind the plate when Joey Bart (foot) is activated from the IL.

Hicks went 3-for-4 with a walk, a double, a two-run home run and two additional runs scored in Friday's 8-3 win over the Pirates.

The breakout slugger took Antwone Kelly deep in the eighth inning to put a cap on another productive night. Hicks is up to 50 RBI on the season, tied for sixth in the majors, and through 67 contests he's slashing .274/.355/.489 with 13 homers and 38 runs while splitting his time almost equally between catcher, first base and DH.

Kirk went 3-for-3 with a walk, a double, two RBI and one run scored in Friday's win over the Yankees.

Kirk returned from a two-month absence Friday and made an immediate contribution with an RBI double during the first inning before delivering another run-scoring knock in the fifth. The 27-year-old has now played in six games this season and is batting .261 (6-for-23) with two doubles, a homer, four RBI and three runs.

Langeliers went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Friday's 6-4 win over the Rockies.

Langeliers is batting just .235 (12-for-51) over his last 11 games, but he has five homers in that span. The catcher's blast Friday opened the scoring in the fifth inning. He's hitting .281 with an .883 OPS, 18 homers, 36 RBI, 45 runs scored, 14 doubles and a stolen base across 63 contests this season. Langeliers leads the Athletics in homers and is now tied for first with Colorado's Hunter Goodman for long balls by catchers this season.

D'Arnaud (foot) is no longer wearing a walking boot, and he played catch on the field Wednesday, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.

It's a notable step for d'Arnaud, who landed on the 10-day injured list May 8 due to plantar fasciitis in his right foot. The veteran backstop has since been transferred to the 60-day IL, so he isn't eligible to return until early July. With Sebastian Rivero currently sidelined due t a left hamate fracture, Logan Porter is working as the backup catcher behind Logan O'Hoppe.

White Sox manager Will Venable said Friday that Teel (knee/hamstring) will embark on a rehab assignment soon and is working toward returning from the 60-day injured list in the next few days, Bruce Levine of 670TheScore.com reports.

Levine relays that Teel's hamstring strain has fully healed, and the catcher's right knee strain is close to full recovery. Teel will go on a rehab assignment in the minor leagues in the coming days, and if all goes well, he could be cleared to make his 2026 regular-season debut by late June. His return would mean less reps available for both Edgar Quero and Drew Romo.
