Haase went 2-for-4 with a stolen base in Saturday's 2-1 win over Cleveland.

Haase has typically provided most of his fantasy value this season through his power production, but he made a rare impact on the bases Saturday. The 28-year-old rookie is locked in atop the depth chart at catcher, and because the Tigers want to keep his potent bat in the lineup, he should have a spot in the lineup at designated hitter on most occasions when he's getting the day off behind the dish. Grayson Greiner will catch in Sunday's series finale while Haase serves as the DH and bats out of the cleanup spot.

McCann went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 5-3 loss to the Phillies.

All the Mets' scoring came in the ninth inning via three solo shots off Mauricio Llovera. McCann's homer was his ninth of the year but his first since July 19, and the veteran catcher is slashing just .238/.273/.333 in the 14 games since.

Adams went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run and a walk in Saturday's 3-2 victory over the Braves.

The backstop was given the start at catcher despite entering the contest with only two hits in 33 at-bats this season. Adams was quiet in his first three plate appearances, but he produced the biggest hit of his young career when he drilled a two-run shot off Atlanta closer Will Smith to turn a one-run deficit into a one-run lead and an eventual victory. The long ball was the first of his big-league career and also accounted for his first two runs batted in.

Gomes went 2-for-4 with a double, a home run, two runs scored and four RBI in Saturday's 12-3 win over the Rangers.

He slugged a three-run shot off Jharel Cotton in the fourth inning, his second homer in five games since coming to Oakland at the trade deadline and his 11th of the year. Gomes is on pace for his best offensive performance since 2013, his first full season in the majors, with a .794 OPS between the A's and Nationals.

Bemboom was designated for assignment by the Angels on Saturday.

Bemboom had been serving as a depth option at the Triple-A level, but the Angels evidently like Chad Wallach more in the third-catcher role, as they claimed him off waivers from the Dodgers in a corresponding move. Bemboom is a 31-year-old with a career .178/.241/.287 line in 144 major-league plate appearances, so he's unlikely to be a hot commodity on the waiver wire.

Wallach was claimed off waivers by the Dodgers in late July but appeared in just a single game at the Triple-A level before moving to Los Angeles' other club. He'll remain in Triple-A for his new organization.

Stassi is not in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Dodgers.

Even after an 0-for-4, two-strikeout performance Friday, Stassi is still hitting .351 with eight RBI in his last 10 games. Kurt Suzuki is catching and batting fifth Saturday.

Nola isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against Arizona.

Nola went 2-for-3 with a run and a walk Friday, but he'll be out of the lineup for the second time in the last three games. Victor Caratini will catch right-hander Yu Darvish and bat eighth.

Stallings isn't starting Saturday's game against the Reds.

Stallings has reached base in each of his last four appearances, and he went 4-for-13 with a double, two runs, an RBI and three walks during that time. Michael Perez will start at catcher and bat eighth.

Narvaez isn't starting Saturday's game against the Giants.

Narvaez went 0-for-3 in Friday's series opener, and he'll retreat to the bench for the second time in the last three games. Manny Pina will start behind the dish and bat eighth.
