Rogers isn't starting Tuesday's game against the Yankees, Evan Woodbery of MLive.com reports.

Rogers is 0-for-12 over four games to begin September, so he's in line for another off day Tuesday. Grayson Greiner draws the start behind the dish and will bat eighth.

D'Arnaud isn't in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against the Rangers.

D'Arnaud came through with an RBI double in his return to the starting lineup Sunday, though he'll head to the bench for Tuesday's series opener. Michael Perez will handle the catching duties and hit ninth.

Stallings went 2-for-3 with a home run against the Giants on Monday.

He's seen the bulk of starts behind home plate over the past month, but mostly because of his defensive skills. General manager Neal Huntington has said that improving the catching position for 2020 is one of his main concerns, meaning that Stallings may not see another year-over-year bump in playing time. He's slashing .268/.339/.389 with five homers in 175 plate appearances.

Mejia (oblique) took batting practice Monday and could return next week, Kevin Acee of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

Mejia swung the bat for the first time since suffering a right oblique strain Aug. 28. Manager Andy Green indicated that Mejia would take batting practice for a few more days before potentially playing in the instructional league. If all goes well, the 23-year-old could return to the Padres next week.

Grandal went 2-for-5 with a two-run homer and two runs scored in Monday's 8-3 win over Miami.

After hitting just three homers in July and August combined, Grandal has already launched five in September and four in his last five games. The switch-hitting catcher is up to 26 long balls this season, one short of his career high set in 2016.

Contreras isn't in the starting lineup for Monday's game against the Padres.

Contreras will take a seat after going 0-for-3 with a walk and a run scored in Sunday's series finale against Milwaukee. Victor Caratini will draw the start behind the dish and is set to bat fifth.

Sanchez is not in Monday's lineup against the Red Sox, Lindsey Adler of The Athletic reports.

Sanchez will head to the bench for Monday's series finale against Boston after starting the first three games of the series behind the dish and going 1-for-9 with a double, three RBI and a 4:4 BB:K. In his place, Austin Romine is starting at catcher and hitting ninth.

Leon went 2-for-3 with a double, RBI and a run scored in Sunday's 10-5 loss to the Red Sox.

The two hits nearly matched Leon's output from the entire month of August (three). Sunday's start was Leon's first of September, and his playing time behind the dish will likely remain scarce so long as Boston remains alive in the playoff hunt.

Stubbs went 1-for-1 with a double, a walk and three runs Sunday in the Astros' 21-1 win over the Mariners.

Stubbs was making just his second appearance with the Astros since being called up from Triple-A Round Rock on Sept. 2. With the Astros leading 13-0 after three innings, manager AJ Hinch pulled a couple key regulars early, allowing Stubbs and Myles Straw (3-for-3 with an RBI and three runs) to produce big lines off the bench. Though Stubbs was used in left field Sunday, he'll primarily serve as insurance at catcher behind Robinson Chirinos and Martin Maldonado in the season's final month.

D'Arnaud went 1-for-3 with an RBI double and a walk in a win over the Blue Jays on Sunday.

D'Arnaud had been out of the starting nine the prior two games due to neck and shoulder tightness, but he corroborated his return to health with a solid showing Sunday. The veteran has only four hits over his first 20 at-bats of September, yet he's surprisingly parlayed that tally into seven RBI, including one in each of his last three games.
