Jose Trevino C | CIN
Rangers' Jose Trevino: Sitting Sunday
Trevino is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Twins.
With starts in three of the previous four games, Trevino seems to have unseated Jeff Mathis for the top catching role in Texas. Mathis will get the nod in the day game after the night game, however, catching for Lance Lynn.

Mitch Garver C | SEA
Twins' Mitch Garver: Takes seat Sunday
Garver is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rangers.
Garver will give way to Jason Castro after drawing six of the past seven starts at catcher. The 28-year-old is batting only .175 thus far in August but has kept his fantasy value afloat by homering three times, driving in seven and scoring six runs.

Sandy Leon C | ATL
Red Sox's Sandy Leon: Gets start in series finale
Leon will start at catcher and bat eighth Sunday against the Orioles, Christopher Smith of The Springfield Republican reports.
Leon will crack the lineup for just the second time in seven games while top backstop Christian Vazquez shifts over to first base. Vazquez has shined both at the plate and behind the dish this season, so Leon isn't expected to see his workload pick up over the final few weeks, especially with the Red Sox trying to chase down a wild-card spot.

Yasmani Grandal C | PIT
Brewers' Yasmani Grandal: Rides pine Sunday
Grandal is not in Sunday's lineup against the Nationals.
He is hitting .226 with one home run in 53 August at-bats, but is in the midst of a modest four-game hitting streak. Manny Pina starts behind the dish and will hit sixth.

Jose Trevino C | CIN
Rangers' Jose Trevino: Makes fourth start of week
Trevino went 1-for-3 and was thrown out at home plate in Saturday's 12-7 loss to the Twins.
Trevino did not show good instincts on the base paths, stopping and starting twice on second base on Shin-Soo Choo's double in the sixth inning. This was his fourth start of the week, the most starts in a week since he was called up in late July. He's not known for his bat, a view reinforced during his time with the Rangers. Trevino is slashing .185/.185/.185 in nine games for Texas.

Francisco Mejia C | TB
Padres' Francisco Mejia: Out of Sunday's lineup
Mejia is not in Sunday's lineup against the Phillies.
He has hit .463 with two home runs in 13 games this month. Austin Hedges will start behind the dish and hit eighth.

Omar Narvaez C | HOU
Mariners' Omar Narvaez: Resting in series finale
Narvaez is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Blue Jays, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.
With the Mariners and Blue Jays wrapping up their series with a day game and Toronto expected to use a southpaw (Thomas Pannone) as its primary pitcher, the lefty-hitting Narvaez will get a breather. Tom Murphy will handle catching duties and bat seventh for Seattle.

J.T. Realmuto C | PHI
Phillies' J.T. Realmuto: Clubs 19th homer
Realmuto went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 5-3 loss to the Padres.
The catcher has now gone deep in back-to-back games and four times in the last five contests, giving him 19 homers and 66 RBI on the season to go with a strong .282/.333/.489 slash line. Realmuto is closing in rapidly on some milestones -- he now sits three home runs and nine RBI short of new career highs in those categories.

Reese McGuire C | CHW
Blue Jays' Reese McGuire: Blasts third homer
McGuire went 2-for-4 with a solo homer in a 4-3 loss to the Mariners on Saturday.
McGuire led off the seventh inning with a solo shot to right field off Anthony Bass to tie the score at 3-3 and later added a ninth-inning double. The 24-year-old has been splitting time at catcher with Danny Jansen and has gone 9-for-34 with three homers. He now holds a .265/.265/.588 slash line in 34 at-bats.
