McCann kept his hot hitting going with a bases-loaded blast off Angels reliever Ty Buttrey. It's his second grand slam in three days and the fifth of his career. McCann's hitting .383 (18-for 47) with two homers, 14 RBI and nine runs scored in 13 games in August. Overall, he's hitting .293/.345/.482 with 14 homers and 50 runs scored, all of which are career bests for the catcher. McCann also has 47 RBI, just two shy of matching his career high from 2017.

Realmuto went 3-for-5 with a double, a home run and two RBI in Friday's 8-4 victory over San Diego.
Realmuto smacked a solo home run in the third inning and followed that up with an RBI double to right center in the fifth. The 28-year-old is now slashing .280/.332/.482 with 18 home runs and 65 RBI over 116 games this season.

Nola went 3-for-5 with an RBI single in a win over the Tigers on Thursday, snapping a 4-for-31 skid.
Nola had put a fitting cap on a highly successful July at the plate with back-to-back three-hit efforts, but he promptly stumbled out of the gate in August. The versatile rookie went 1-for-20 over the first six games of the month, but he's now 6-for-16 in the subsequent four contests. Thursday's multi-hit effort vaulted Nola's average back up over the .300 mark while also pushing his on-base percentage to an impressive .350.
