  • Orioles' Adley Rutschman: Getting day off

Rutschman is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Angels.

The 27-year-old will receive his first day off since June 1 while Gary Sanchez starts at catcher and Gunnar Henderson serves as the Orioles' designated hitter. Though Rutschman's production has been disappointing relative to his draft-day price, he's picked up the pace over the last 11 games, slashing .366/.438/.561 with two home runs, eight runs and four RBI.

  • Red Sox's Carlos Narvaez: Getting Sunday off

Narvaez is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Yankees, Chris Cotillo of MassLive.com reports.

Connor Wong will start behind the dish while Narvaez gets a breather as Boston closes out its series with New York with a day game. Narvaez had started each of the past four games and went 5-for-14 with three doubles, three walks, two runs and one RBI.

  • Yainer Diaz C | HOU

Astros' Yainer Diaz: Leads offense in victory

Diaz went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in a 3-2 win against the Twins on Saturday.

Houston managed just four hits in the contest, and Diaz's two-run homer in the third inning was the only knock that went for extra bases. The backstop has notched an extra-base hit in four straight games, and he's gone 7-for-17 over that span. Diaz is still hitting well below his standard with a .247 batting average on the campaign, but he's at a .361 mark with two homers and six RBI over his past nine contests.

  • Gary Sanchez C | MIL

Orioles' Gary Sanchez: Goes yard in return

Sanchez (wrist) went 1-for-3 with a home run and a hit-by-pitch during Saturday's 6-5 win over the Orioles.

Sanchez left the yard for the first time this season in his first game back off the injured list. He'll be called upon to spell Adley Rutschman occasionally behind the plate, but his other playing time will have to come at the DH position. If the slugging catcher wants time there, his numbers will have to improve. In a small, 33-at-bat sample size, he is slashing .121/.231/.212 on the season.

  • Orioles' Adley Rutschman: Swinging hot bat to begin June

Rutschman went 2-for-3 with a run scored and a walk in Saturday's 6-5 win over the Angels.

Rutschman turned in his fifth multi-hit game of the month, as he's begun to find a groove at the dish recently. Through 41 at-bats in June, the switch-hitting backstop is batting .366 with two homers, two doubles, four RBI and eight runs scored. Rutschman has played in 64 of Baltimore's 69 games in 2025, so he's offered a consistent level of availability at a position than can be hard to find near-everyday players in fantasy, though is .699 OPS is still underwhelming.

  • Reds' Tyler Stephenson: Leads rout with grand slam

Stephenson went 2-for-5 with a double, a grand slam and a second run scored in Saturday's 11-1 win over the Tigers.

The backstop gave the Reds a 6-1 lead when he drove the first pitch he saw from Jack Flaherty in the fifth inning over the left-field fence. Stephenson has produced multiple hits in three of his last five games, and through 10 June contests he's batting .317 (13-for-41) with three doubles, two homers, six runs and 10 RBI.

  • Danny Jansen C | TEX

Rays' Danny Jansen: Not in lineup Saturday

Jansen is not starting Saturday against the Mets, Ryan Bass of FanDuel Sports Network Sun reports.

Jansen will begin on the bench after starting behind the plate and swatting a two-run homer Friday in the first game of the series. Matt Thaiss is starting at catcher and batting seventh for the Rays on Saturday.

  • Orioles' Maverick Handley: Sent back to minors

Baltimore optioned Handley to Triple-A Norfolk on Saturday, Rich Dubroff of BaltimoreBaseball.com reports.

Handley had been handling backup backstop duties for Baltimore since late April after Gary Sanchez landed on the injured list due to a wrist issue. However, Sanchez was activated Saturday, resulting in Handley's return to the minors. During his time with the Orioles, the 27-year-old posted a woeful .211 OPS, going 3-for-40 at the plate with no extra-base hits and three RBI while striking out 37 percent of the time.

  • Gary Sanchez C | MIL

Orioles' Gary Sanchez: Activated off IL

The Orioles reinstated Sanchez (wrist) off the injured list Saturday, Rich Dubroff of BaltimoreBaseball.com reports.

Sanchez had been on the IL since late April due to a wrist injury. He progressed to a minor-league rehab stint in early June and batted .364 (8-for-22) with three home runs, eight RBI and six runs with Triple-A Norfolk. Sanchez is now set to retake backup catcher duties for Baltimore behind Adley Rutschman. Fellow backstop Maverick Handley was optioned to Norfolk in a corresponding move. Sanchez is starting at DH and batting seventh Saturday in his return, per Jake Rill of MLB.com.

  • Mets' Francisco Alvarez: Not starting Saturday

Alvarez isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against Tampa Bay.

Alvarez will get a breather Saturday after going 0-for-3 with a walk and a run scored in Friday's game. Luis Torrens will take over behind the dish and bat eighth.
