Samuel Basallo C | BAL
Orioles' Samuel Basallo: Resting for early game
Basallo is out of the lineup for the first game of Sunday's doubleheader versus the Tigers, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.
With southpaw Framber Valdez taking the hill for the Tigers in the first game of the twin bill, Basallo will be given a breather while Baltimore goes with Adley Rutschman behind the plate and Taylor Ward at designated hitter. Basallo will most likely handle catching duties for the Orioles in the nightcap.

Henry Davis C | PIT
Pirates' Henry Davis: Part of timeshare with Rodriguez
Davis is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Blue Jays.
Though he's seen his playing time pick back up since Joey Bart (foot) landed on the injured list May 12, Davis looks to be part of a timeshare at catcher with Endy Rodriguez. Davis and Rodriguez have now alternated turns behind the dish over the Bucs' last six games.

Kyle Higashioka C | TEX
Rangers' Kyle Higashioka: Pops solo shot
Higashioka went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Saturday's 5-2 loss to the Angels.
Higashioka got a run back with his seventh-inning blast, but the Rangers couldn't build a rally. The catcher has three homers this season, and two of them have come over his last four games. He's batting just .215 with a .621 OPS, nine RBI, eight runs scored and no stolen bases over 86 plate appearances. Higashioka and Danny Jansen continue to split the catching duties fairly evenly, though Jansen has a slight edge.

Marlins' Liam Hicks: Posts first career multi-homer game
Hicks went 2-for-4 with a two solo home runs in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Mets.
Hicks recorded the first multi-homer game of his career Saturday, taking Mets right-hander Freddy Peralta deep on both long balls. The big flies were also the 26-year-old catcher's first since May 7, snapping a 14-game drought. It's been a breakout year overall for Hicks, who's batting .279 with 11 homers, four doubles and 44 RBI over 186 plate appearances.

Logan O'Hoppe C | LAA
Angels' Logan O'Hoppe: Sitting as precaution
O'Hoppe (head) isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Rangers, Erica Weston of Bally Sports West reports.
O'Hoppe was put through concussion protocol after he collided with Josh Jung during Friday's contest, but he said Saturday that he cleared it and is out of the lineup simply as a precaution, per Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com. Sebastian Rivero will pick up a start behind the plate while O'Hoppe sits, and the latter will presumably aim to return to the starting nine Sunday.

Reds' Tyler Stephenson: Resting during nightcap
Stephenson isn't in the lineup for the second game of Saturday's doubleheader against the Cardinals, Charlie Goldsmith of Fox 19 Now Cincinnati reports.
After going 0-for-3 with a strikeout during a 9-1 loss in Game 1, Stephenson will move to the bench for Game 2 while P.J. Higgins starts behind the plate.

Brewers' William Contreras: Getting rest Saturday
