Jeffers is out of the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Mariners.

Jeffers will sit for the second time in three games while Christian Vazquez starts behind home plate and bats ninth. Jeffers has slashed .228/.343/.439 with three home runs and 11 RBI in 67 plate appearances in June.

Fermin is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Rays.

Fermin's playing time had been trending up toward the end of last week, but he'll be on the bench Wednesday for the third time in four games. Due to the Royals' willingness to keep top backstop Salvador Perez fresh by occasionally using him at designated hitter and first base, Fermin should start more frequently than most No. 2 catchers, though probably not enough to make him a usable option in the majority of fantasy leagues.

Smith isn't in the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Rockies, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports.

Smith will grab a seat on the bench Wednesday after going 2-for-5 with a run scored during Tuesday's series opener. While he rests, Dalton Rushing will catch for Yoshinobu Yamamoto and bat ninth.

Pages is not in the lineup for Wednesday's tilt versus the Cubs.

It's a routine day off after Pages started at catcher in both of the first two games of the series. Yohel Pozo will be behind the dish and bat eighth for the Cardinals on Wednesday.

Diaz is not in the lineup for Wednesday's tilt versus the Phillies.

Diaz just had a day off Sunday, but he will get another breather Wednesday in the second game of the series against the Phillies. Victor Caratini will start at catcher and bat cleanup for the Astros.

Torrens is absent from the lineup for Wednesday contest versus Atlanta.

Torrens started each of the first three games after Francisco Alvarez was optioned to Triple-A Syracuse on Sunday, but he'll get a day off Wednesday. Hayden Senger will handle catching duties for the Mets.

Wynns is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Tigers.

Wynns will get a breather Wednesday after he had started behind the dish in three of the Athletics' previous four games. With Wynns on the bench, Willie MacIver will handle catching duties for the Athletics.

O'Hoppe is absent from the lineup for Wednesday's contest against the Red Sox, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.

O'Hoppe went 1-for-4 while playing 10 innings behind the plate in Tuesday night's 3-2 win and will now get a breather for Wednesday's matinee. Travis d'Arnaud will start behind the dish and bat sixth for the Angels.

Adams will start at catcher and bat eighth in Wednesday's game against the Padres, Spencer Nusbaum of The Washington Post reports.

Adams will draw his second straight start and appears poised to operate as the Nationals' No. 1 catcher for the foreseeable future after Washington placed Keibert Ruiz (head) on the 10-day injured list Tuesday. Though Ruiz's absence will open up more playing time for Adams, the 28-year-old will be on the radar as a fantasy pickup mainly in NL-only leagues or mixed leagues that start two catchers. Adams owns a .651 OPS over parts of five seasons in the majors and is slashing just .106/.132/.273 with three home runs and eight RBI across 68 plate appearances so far in 2025.

Maldonado is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Nationals.

Maldonado clubbed his fourth home run of the season in Tuesday's win over the Nationals, but he'll grab a seat in Wednesday's afternoon contest. Elias Diaz will start at catcher and bat ninth for the Padres.
