The Red Sox placed Heineman on the 10-day injured list Monday, retroactive to April 22, with a right hamstring strain.

Heineman evidently must have suffered the injury during Sunday's game against the Pirates. He'll be eligible to return in early May but isn't a given to be back on the big-league roster once he's healthy, as the Red Sox might send him to Triple-A Worcester instead.

Davis is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Brewers, Kevin Gorman of TribLive.com reports.

Davis is 2-for-19 with eight strikeouts over his past six games and will sit Tuesday for the third time in Pittsburgh's last four contests. The young catcher has a .510 OPS for the season and could be in danger of losing his roster spot when Yasmani Grandal (foot) completes his rehab assignment. Joey Bart is starting behind the plate and batting eighth Tuesday.

Jeffers is absent from the lineup for Tuesday's game against the White Sox.

It looks to be a routine day off for the Twins' top catcher. Christian Vazquez will be behind the plate Tuesday while Pablo Lopez does the pitching.

The Orioles optioned Banuelos to Triple-A Norfolk on Tuesday.

The 27-year-old had his contract selected by Baltimore on Monday but was only with the big club one day, as prospect Heston Kjerstad was promoted Tuesday. Banuelos isn't likely to receive another look with the Orioles if Adley Rutschman and James McCann stay healthy.

The Rangers activated Heim from the bereavement list Tuesday.

Heim was away from the club for two games while tending to more urgent personal matters. Sam Huff had been up briefly to back up Andrew Knizner, but he's now returned to Triple-A Round Rock with Heim set to resume his role as the Rangers' everyday catcher.

The Rangers optioned Huff to Triple-A Round Rock on Monday.

Huff was up for a handful of days and did not receive a plate appearance. He'll go back to getting regular at-bats at Round Rock.

McCann went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Monday's 4-2 victory versus the Angels.

With Adley Rutschman resting his legs as the Orioles' DH, McCann got a start behind the plate and accounted for the team's first run with a second-inning solo blast. The veteran backstop has notched at least one hit in seven of the 10 games in which he's appeared, compiling a .265/.265/.412 slash line, five runs and five RBI. That works just fine for a backup catcher, but McCann doesn't figure to be a viable option in most fantasy formats with Rutschman staked to the lead role behind the plate for the Orioles for the foreseeable future.

D'Arnaud went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer in Monday's win over Miami.

D'Arnaud knocked a 365-foot home run off Ryan Weathers in the fourth inning to give him his fifth homer in four games. The recent hot stretch is a welcome sight for the veteran catcher as he was previously slashing .200/.250/.311 over 48 plate appearances. D'Arnaud should continue garnering the majority of playing time in Atlanta until Sean Murphy (oblique) returns.

Rogers went 2-for-3 with a run scored in Monday's 7-1 win over the Rays.

Rogers came into the contest having gone 0-for-16 across his previous seven games, so the hits were much needed, though he's still batting just .119 overall in what's been a rough start to the year. The backstop is also still sitting on just one home run for the season, and he'll need to find his power stroke soon to make a fantasy impact and hold off Carson Kelly for playing time.

Banuelos had his contract selected from Triple-A Norfolk by the Orioles on Monday.

Banuelos was optioned outright to Norfolk on Friday after clearing waivers, but he'll now return to the big-league roster. The catcher appeared in the team's 11-3 win over the Twins on April 16, failing to get on base in his only at-bat of the season. He'll replace Austin Hays (calf) on Baltimore's roster after Hays was placed on the 10-day injured list Monday, while outfielder Peyton Burdick was designated for assignment, opening a spot on the 40-man roster for Banuelos.
