Canha (hip) is not in the starting lineup Saturday versus the Red Sox, Evan Petzold of the Detroit Free Press reports.

Canha was a late scratch from Friday's lineup due to left hip soreness, and he'll be forced to sit out again Saturday. Colt Keith will slot in at designated hitter while Zach McKinstry enters the lineup at second base and bats seventh against Boston.

The 27-year-old outfielder launched a 401-foot home run off Ronel Blanco in fifth inning, extending Minnesota's lead to 4-1. Overall, Larnach is slashing .268/.327/.443 in 107 plate appearances this season.

Stanton is not in the starting lineup for Friday's game against the Giants.

Stanton has struggled of late, going 1-for-20 with eight strikeouts over his last five games, and his slash line is down to .225/.275/.471 for the season. Trent Grisham will start in center field Friday while Aaron Judge serves as the designated hitter against Giants right-hander Jordan Hicks.

Aranda is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Athletics.

The lefty-hitting Aranda will hit the bench for the second day in a row, this time against a lefty (Hogan Harris) after he sat out against right-hander Joey Estes in Wednesday's 4-3 win. Aranda came off the bench Wednesday and delivered a pinch-hit RBI single, lifting his average up to .237 over 14 games on the season. Harold Ramirez will get another turn at designated hitter Thursday.

Larnach is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Royals.

With Thursday's contest being a day game after a night game, manager Rocco Baldelli will give rest to several key regulars. Along with Larnach, Max Kepler, Edouard Julien and Alex Kirilloff will rest as the Twins open up room in the lineup for reserves Christian Vazquez, Manuel Margot, Kyle Farmer and Carlos Santana.
