Manzardo isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Tigers.

After going 0-for-5 in Friday's series opener, Manzardo will take a day off to regroup while Jose Ramirez works as Cleveland's DH. Daniel Schneemann will move to third base as a result, and Angel Martinez will start at second.

Manager Alex Cora said Saturday that Yoshida (shoulder) will return from the injured list during Boston's upcoming homestand, Chris Cotillo of MassLive.com reports.

The Boston skipper didn't say exactly when Yoshida will be activated, but his comments confirm that the 31-year-old outfielder will return before the All-Star break. However, it's unclear what kind of role Yoshida will play upon his return, as the team is already juggling five outfielders on its active roster.

Stanton isn't in the starting lineup Saturday against the Mets.

It's Stanton's second absence in New York's past three games. The slugger has gone just 3-for-23 over his past seven contests, and the Yankees may be looking for a spark elsewhere while in the midst of a rough stretch as a team. Ben Rice is getting a turn at DH in Stanton's stead Saturday.

Santander (shoulder) could begin swinging a bat late next week, Keegan Matheson of MLB.com reports.

The 30-year-old slugger has been on the shelf since May 30 due to a shoulder issue and just got shifted to the 60-day IL, ensuring he'll be unavailable until at least the end of July, but he's close to ramping up his activity level. The Blue Jays have gotten very little from Santander so far after signing him to a five-year, $92.5 million contract this winter, but he could yet provide a boost to the offense for the stretch run.

Keaschall (forearm) has been hitting off a pitching machine and is awaiting final clearance before facing live pitching, Dan Hayes of The Athletic reports.

Keaschall's next step would be to face live pitching for a week or so and then start playing rehab games. The 22-year-old was given a recovery timeline of two months or more after being diagnosed with a fractured right forearm in late April. He'll likely need a lengthy rehab assignment, so it looks like he could return in late July or early August at this point.

Santander (shoulder) was transferred to the 60-day injured list Friday, Ben Nicholson-Smith of Sportsnet.ca reports.

Santander had been on the 10-day IL due to a subluxation of his left shoulder since May 30, and his move to the 60-day IL means that he won't be eligible for activation until July 30. Blue Jays general manager Ross Atkins mentioned near the end of June that the veteran outfielder was nearing the beginning of a hitting progression, but it appears that Santander remains several weeks away from being ready to return to action. Of late, Davis Schneider has been getting most of the starts in left field in Santander's stead.

Polanco is not in Friday's lineup against the Pirates.

Polanco recently missed a few games with left knee soreness, but he went 3-for-4 with a home run and two doubles in Thursday's game against the Royals. He is slashing .253/.326/.387 with two home runs, seven runs, nine RBI and one steal in his last 20 games. Cal Raleigh is starting at designated hitter while Mitch Garver gets the nod behind the plate.

Polanco went 3-for-4 with a solo home run and two doubles in Thursday's 3-2 loss to the Royals.

Polanco opened the scoring with a fourth-inning solo shot. He had gone just 3-for-24 (.125) over his previous seven games, which included a three-game stint out of the lineup due to knee soreness. His homer Thursday was his first since June 13 versus the Guardians. Polanco is now at 12 homers, 39 RBI, 27 runs scored, 11 doubles and three stolen bases while slashing .253/.308/.451 on the year.

Stanton is not in the lineup for Thursday's game versus the Blue Jays.

Stanton started the first three games of the series and cranked his first home run of the season in Wednesday's contest, but he'll begin Thursday's festivities on the bench. Aaron Judge is getting a start at designated hitter as the Yankees try to avoid a four-game sweep.

Rangers manager Bruce Bochy said Wednesday that Pederson (hand) is likely to return from the 10-day injured list in about three weeks, Jeff Wilson of AllDLLS.com reports.

The estimated timeline laid out by Bochy would put Pederson in line to rejoin the Rangers in the second week after the All-Star break. Before being placed on the injured list May 25 after he fractured his right hand on a hit-by-pitch, Pederson was in the midst of a rough first season in Texas. He was batting just .131 with two home runs over 145 plate appearances, though his 14.1 percent walk rate and 19.3 percent strikeout rate were both comfortably better than his career rates (11.6 percent, 23.5 percent). Once he's fully healed from the hand fracture and completes a rehab assignment, Pederson should settle back in as the Rangers' preferred designated hitter versus right-handed pitching.
