Twins' Trevor Larnach: Lifts team to win Saturday
Larnach went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and a double in Saturday's 2-1 win over San Francisco.
Larnach had two of Minnesota's three extra-base hits in the contest, including a two-run homer in the third inning that accounted for all of the team's scoring. The multi-hit performance was the first in May for Larnach, who entered Saturday having batted just .188 (6-for-32) through eight games this month. Larnach's long ball Saturday was his second in his past three games and his sixth overall this season.

Brent Rooker DH | ATH
Athletics' Brent Rooker: Launches homer No. 10
Rooker went 2-for-5 with a three-run home run and a second run scored in Saturday's 11-7 win over the Yankees.
Getting the start in right field, the 30-year-old slugger took Carlos Rodon deep in the third inning to give the A's a 4-0 lead, and Rooker his 10th homer of the season. It was his fifth appearance of the season in the outfield, crossing an eligibility threshold in some fantasy formats, but his bat plays at any position. Through 40 games, Rooker is slashing .253/.316/.494 with 22 RBI and 27 runs.

Anthony Santander RF | TOR
Blue Jays' Anthony Santander: Working through shoulder injury
Santander is not in Saturday's starting lineup against the Mariners due to a shoulder injury, Keegan Matheson of MLB.com reports.
Santander has been receiving treatment on his shoulder after crashing into the stands in a pursuit of a foul ball during Thursday's game against the Angels, per Ben Nicholson-Smith of Sportsnet.ca. The outfielder will be out of the starting lineup for a second consecutive game as a result of his injury, but he could be available off the bench Saturday. George Springer will serve as the Blue Jays' designated hitter while Myles Straw, Daulton Varsho and Nathan Lukes start in the outfield with Santander out.

Astros' Yordan Alvarez: Still not swinging bat
Alvarez (hand) is feeling better Saturday but has not resumed swinging a bat, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.
Alvarez has been on the injured list since May 5 due to a muscle strain in his hand. He's eligible to return Tuesday, though this update suggests that he'll almost certainly be sidelined beyond the 10-day minimum.

Guardians' Kyle Manzardo: Clubs ninth homer
Manzardo went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 6-0 win over the Phillies.

Anthony Santander RF | TOR
Blue Jays' Anthony Santander: Taking seat Friday
Santander isn't in the lineup for Friday's game against the Mariners.

Lewis is not in the lineup for Friday's game against the Giants.
Lewis made his season debut Tuesday and started all three games against the Orioles, going 0-for-9 with one strikeout and one walk. He'll get a breather against Giants right-hander Jordan Hicks. Brooks Lee is making the start at third base and batting in the cleanup spot for Minnesota.

Rafael Devers 3B | SF
Red Sox's Rafael Devers: Declines to play first base
Devers said Thursday that he declined a request from team management to play first base, Ken Powtak of MLB.com reports. "They had the conversation with me," Devers said through a team interpreter. "I don't think, for me personally, it's the best decision after they asked me to play a different position."
Alex Cora had previously indicated he wasn't even going to ask Devers if he would be willing to move from designated hitter to first base, and instead, the manager allowed Red Sox chief baseball officer Craig Breslow to make the request. After a slow start to the season, Devers has been locked in at the plate since late April, going 18-for-47 with four home runs, four doubles, 11 RBI and eight runs scored over the last 12 games. Devers' insistence on not switching positions leaves Boston without a clear starter at first base in the wake of a season-ending knee injury to Triston Casas.
