Christopher Morel DH | MIA
Cubs' Christopher Morel: Hits clutch home run
Morel went 2-for-4 with a walk-off, three-run home run in Wednesday's 4-3 win over the White Sox.
Morel picked a great time for his 19th home run of the season, taking Gregory Santos deep with two runners on in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game for the Cubs. The 24-year-old has slowed down since hitting nine home runs in his first 12 games of the year, but he's still been a solid source of power for his team and fantasy managers. Morel hasn't run as much this season, however, stealing only four bases so far after swiping 10 as a rookie in 2022.

Mark Vientos DH | NYM
Mets' Mark Vientos: Nursing wrist inflammation
Vientos, who is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Pirates, was diagnosed with left wrist inflammation after undergoing an MRI, Laura Albanese of Newsday reports.
Vientos was sent in for the MRI after he was lifted for a pinch hitter in Tuesday's 7-4 loss due to his bothersome wrist. While he appears to have avoided a serious injury, he'll remain day-to-day heading into the Mets' four-game series in St. Louis this weekend.

Charlie Blackmon RF | COL
Rockies' Charlie Blackmon: Taking seat Wednesday
Blackmon is not in the lineup for Wednesday's game versus the Diamondbacks.
Blackmon started at designated hitter and batted leadoff for both of his first two games since returning from the injured list, but he'll take a seat Wednesday for a day game after a night game. Ryan McMahon will get a day out of the field and replace Blackmon as the Rockies' DH.

Mark Vientos DH | NYM
Mets' Mark Vientos: Steps out of starting nine
Vientos is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Pirates.
Jonathan Arauz will get the nod at third base for the series finale while Vientos gets a breather following a stretch of 10 consecutive starts. Though Vientos has taken hold of an everyday role in the aftermath of the Aug. 1 trade deadline, he's provided little value for fantasy managers. On the month, Vientos is hitting just .154 with no home runs, two RBI, one run and no stolen bases in 14 games.

Marcell Ozuna DH | PIT
Braves' Marcell Ozuna: Big day in Tuesday's win
Ozuna went 2-for-2 with two walks and a three-run home run in Tuesday's 5-0 win over the Yankees.
The veteran slugger launched what proved to be the game-winning hit in the first inning when he took Luis Severino deep to straightaway center field. Ozuna's hit safely in 13 straight games, batting .333 (16-for-48) over that stretch, and the hot streak has pushed his slash line on the season up to .245/.320/.478 with 24 homers and 60 RBI in 103 contests.

J.D. Martinez DH | NYM
Dodgers' J.D. Martinez: Grabs RBI in return to lineup
Martinez (hamstring) went 1-for-4 with an RBI double and a run scored in Tuesday's 6-2 win over the Brewers.
Martinez has been bothered by lingering hamstring discomfort over the last week-plus. He was solid Tuesday, providing the go-ahead knock to spark the Dodgers' sixth-inning rally. The veteran designated hitter is at a .259/.311/.557 slash line with 25 home runs, 77 RBI, 49 runs scored, 23 doubles, two triples and a stolen base over 89 contests this season. Assuming he can avoid further setbacks, he can be penciled into the heart of the Dodgers' order going forward.

Jorge Soler DH | LAA
Marlins' Jorge Soler: Cranks 30th homer
Soler went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Tuesday's 6-5 loss to the Astros.
Soler extended the Marlins' lead to 3-0 with a two-run homer off Cristian Javier in the third inning, his second long ball in as many days and his 30th of the year. It's the first time Soler has reached the 30-homer threshold since he hit 48 with Kansas City in 2019. Overall, the 31-year-old outfielder's slashing .244/.332/.505 with 65 RBI and 64 runs scored across 482 plate appearances this season.

J.D. Martinez DH | NYM
Dodgers' J.D. Martinez: Returns to lineup Tuesday
Martinez (hamstring/groin) is back in the lineup Tuesday against the Brewers.
Martinez will serve as the Dodgers' designated hitter and bat fifth in his first game since Aug. 6. He's been bothered by lingering left hamstring/groin discomfort since late July but ultimately managed to avoid the injured list.

Daniel Vogelbach DH | TOR
Mets' Daniel Vogelbach: On bench versus lefty
Vogelbach is out of the lineup Tuesday versus the Pirates.
Mark Vientos will serve as the Mets' designated hitter and Danny Mendick will cover third base with left-hander Bailey Falter toeing the slab for Pittsburgh. Vogelbach is hitless with seven strikeouts in only 13 plate appearances this year against southpaws.

Vogelbach went 1-for-2 with a solo home run and two walks in Monday's 7-2 win over Pittsburgh.

The 30-year-old Vogelbach is 4-for-10 with a pair of homers over his last four games after going 0-for-14 in his previous four contests. He's now slashing .223/.329/.377 with nine homers, 34 RBI and 26 runs scored across 255 plate appearances this season.
