Beer is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Marlins.

The lefty-hitting Beer typically finds himself on the bench against southpaws, so his absence from the lineup comes as little surprise with lefty Jesus Luzardo on the bump for Miami. Beer may soon lose out on work against right-handers, too; in 68 plate appearances versus righties this season, Beer is slashing .175/.294/.246, good for a 61 wRC+ mark.

Harper went 3-for-4 with a walk, two runs scored and an RBI in Monday's 9-0 win over the Mariners.

While his teammates supplied the thunder, Harper focused on setting the table on a night when seven different Phillies had multi-hit performances. For his part, Harper has delivered multiple hits in three of the last four games, boosting his slash line on the season to .259/.315/.509 with six homers, four steals, 19 RBI and 23 runs through 29 contests.

Belt is no longer in the starting lineup for Monday's game against the Rockies due to neck stiffness, Maria I. Guardado of MLB.com reports.

This is the second day in a row Belt has been scratched from the starting nine, as he's still dealing with a neck issue. Darin Ruf draws the start at first base and will bat fifth in Belt's place.

Pederson hasn't made a single start against a southpaw this season. Considering his career 67 wRC+ against lefties and the Giants' affinity for platoons, that setup is unlikely to change any time soon. Austin Slater will get the start in left field.

Belt was originally listed in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Cardinals after leaving Saturday's contest with neck stiffness, but he wound up being scratched. He's ready to go Monday and will look to build on his .239/.386/.463 season slash line.

Blackmon isn't starting Monday against the Giants, Danielle Allentuck of The Denver Gazette reports.

Blackmon will get a breather after he went 1-for-12 with a double and two strikeouts over the last three games. Yonathan Daza, Garrett Hampson and Randal Grichuk are starting in the outfield from left to right.

Vogelbach will be on the bench Monday against the Dodgers.

Vogelbach has started against every righty the Pirates have faced this season, and he hasn't been completely prevented from facing lefties, but his off day here against Julio Urias means he's now sat against six out of 10 southpaws so far this year. Bryan Reynolds will rest his legs in the designated hitter spot, with Jake Marisnick starting in center field.

For what it's worth, Belt told Steve Kroner of the San Francisco Chronicle that he doesn't believe the neck issue will keep him on the bench beyond Sunday's game.
