Daniel Vogelbach DH | TOR
Brewers' Daniel Vogelbach: Rehab assignment going as planned
Vogelbach (hamstring) has gone 10-for-27 (.370) with two home runs and five RBI through 10 games in his rehab assignment at Triple-A Nashville.
The Brewers wanted Vogelbach to spend some time at the minor-league level to get his swing back, and he has certainly accomplished that. Vogelbach was starting regularly at first base at the time of his injury, but it is tough to envision him reprising that role when his rehab stint comes to a close, as Rowdy Tellez joined the club during his absence and has posted a .993 OPS over 26 games.

Justin Turner DH | CHC
Dodgers' Justin Turner: Sits again Thursday
Turner (groin) will remain on the bench for Thursday's game against the Phillies, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.
Turner hasn't played since Sunday while working through left groin discomfort. Previous reports indicated he wouldn't return before Friday, so his absence Thursday is an expected one. Max Muncy will shift to third base in his absence, with Albert Pujols starting at first.

Alex Dickerson DH | ATL
Giants' Alex Dickerson: Out of Wednesday's lineup
Dickerson is not in the lineup Wednesday against the Diamondbacks, Maria I. Guardado of MLB.com reports.
Dickerson has regularly sat against left-handed pitchers this season, but he's on the bench Wednesday with righty Merrill Kelly taking the mound. Darin Ruf will start in left field in his place.
-
Brad Miller DH | SD
Phillies' Brad Miller: Takes seat Wednesday
Miller isn't in the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Dodgers.
Miller had started each of the last four games with Rhys Hoskins (groin) unavailable, and he went 4-for-14 with two homers, a triple, three runs and two RBI. Alec Bohm will take over at first base while Didi Gregorius starts at the hot corner.

Andrew McCutchen DH | TEX
Phillies' Andrew McCutchen: Reinstated from injured list
McCutchen (knee) was reinstated from the 10-day injured list Wednesday, Todd Zolecki of MLB.com reports.
McCutchen will return from the 10-day IL on his first day of eligibility after he recovered from left knee inflammation. He'll reclaim his job as the primary left fielder and will be in the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Dodgers, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.

Justin Turner DH | CHC
Dodgers' Justin Turner: Remains out Wednesday
Turner (groin) is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Phillies, Eric Stephen of SBNation.com reports.
Manager Dave Roberts said a day earlier that Turner isn't likely to play until Friday's series opener in New York versus the Mets, so his absence from the starting nine for the second straight day comes as little surprise. Chris Taylor will once again fill in for Turner at third base while batting fifth for the Dodgers.

Joc Pederson DH | TEX
Braves' Joc Pederson: Sits against lefty
Pederson isn't in the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Reds.
Pederson will be on the bench against left-hander Wade Miley after he went 1-for-12 with three walks and four strikeouts across the last four games. Guillermo Heredia will start in center field and bat eighth.
-
Charlie Blackmon RF | COL
Rockies' Charlie Blackmon: Resting for series finale
Blackmon is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Astros.
With the Rockies and Astros wrapping up their series with a day game after a night game and with a southpaw (Framber Valdez) on the hill for Houston, the lefty-hitting Blackmon will receive a maintenance day. Yonathan Daza will cover right field and bat second in Blackmon's stead.

Andrew McCutchen DH | TEX
Phillies' Andrew McCutchen: Could return Wednesday
McCutchen (knee) could be activated from the 10-day injured list prior to Wednesday's game against the Dodgers, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.
McCutchen has been on the IL with left knee inflammation since Aug. 2, but the outfielder has a chance to be reinstated when first eligible. Even if he's not quite ready to return Wednesday, the 34-year-old should be back in the lineup within the next few days.

Jesse Winker DH | NYM
Reds' Jesse Winker: Gets rare day off
Winker will be on the bench Tuesday against Atlanta.
Winker sits for the first time in over a month. It's no surprise to see his day off come against a southpaw (Drew Smyly), as he owns a 53 wRC+ against lefties this season compared to a 182 wRC+ against righties, but there's been no indication he's about to slip into a platoon role. Aristides Aquino will start in left field in his absence.
