Yelich went 4-for-6 with eight RBI and a pair of doubles in Friday's 17-6 win over the Twins.

Yelich amassed a career high with eight RBI, and it's perhaps an even more remarkable feat considering he accomplished it without needing a home run. Friday also marked the second four-hit game of the season for the veteran outfielder, who's been sizzling at the plate recently. Over his last 16 games, Yelich is slashing .361/.418/.525 with two homers, four doubles and 14 RBI with one stolen base covering 67 plate appearances.

The Angels placed Soler (back) on the 10-day injured list Friday.

Soler will be sidelined for at least a week and a half due to nagging back soreness, an issue that held him out of back-to-back games before Friday's move. Gustavo Campero was recalled from Triple-A Salt Lake in a corresponding move. Soler won't be eligible to be activated until June 30.

Soler had missed back-to-back games due to back soreness and won't be able to avoid a stint on the injured list. The 33-year-old is slashing .207/.280/350 with eight home runs in 264 plate appearances this season. LaMonte Wade and Scott Kingery could receive more playing time while Soler is sidelined.

Larnach is dealing with a right hand contusion and won't play in Friday's game against Milwaukee, Aaron Gleeman of The Athletic reports.

The Twins previously scratched Larnach from the lineup, but an explanation for his removal wasn't immediately provided until it was revealed that he was dealing with a hand issue. He should be considered day-to-day moving forward.

It's unclear why Larnach won't end up starting Friday, but he'll exit the lineup after initially being listed as the Twins' DH and cleanup hitter. In the wake of his absence, Ryan Jeffers will DH and bat fifth while Carlos Correa bats cleanup.

An MRI on Friday revealed a Grade 2 strain in Herrera's left hamstring, John Denton of MLB.com reports.

Herrera told reporters Friday that he is expected to miss 2-to-6 weeks due to the strain. He was warned by medical staff that attempting to play through the strain could result to a season-ending injury, so the decision was made to shut him down and place him on the 10-day injured list. The Cardinals should have a better sense of when Herrera can return once he resumes baseball activities, but the severity of the injury could keep the 25-year-old sidelined through the All-Star break. With Herrera sidelined, Yohel Pozo will serve as the primary backup catcher behind Pedro Pages, while Alec Burleson, Nolan Gorman, Thomas Saggese and Willson Contreras are candidates to see increased work at designated hitter.

Santander (shoulder) has yet to resume hitting, Keegan Matheson of MLB.com reports.

Santander has been on the shelf since late May due to inflammation in his left shoulder. While he's been cleared to throw, he hasn't begun hitting yet. Considering the lengthy layoff, it's likely Santander will need a rehab assignment. If that's the case, Santander shouldn't be expected back until July.

O'Hearn is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Yankees.

O'Hearn missed a game last weekend due to a left ankle injury, but he's started four straight contests since, going 2-for-13 (.154) at the plate. He'll yield to Coby Mayo at first base while Adley Rutschman plays DH.

The Cardinals placed Herrera on the 10-day injured list with a left hamstring strain Friday.

It's a tough blow for the St. Louis lineup, as Herrera had cemented himself as the team's top power bat in the heart of the order. Herrera is slashing .320/.392/.533 with eight home runs, 36 RBI, 22 runs scored, one stolen base and a 16:32 BB:K across 171 plate appearances. This will be his second trip to the injured list this season after missing time with a knee injury earlier in the year. Pedro Pages and Yohel Pozo will handle catching duties for the Cardinals, while Nolan Gorman and prospect Thomas Saggese, who was promoted in a corresponding move Friday, should fill the hole left by Herrera.

Flores went 1-for-1 with a two-RBI double during Thursday's 2-1 win over the Guardians.

Flores pinch hit in the seventh inning and delivered what proved to be the game-winning hit. The 33-year-old has been left out of the starting lineup in two of the club's last three games following Rafael Devers' arrival. However, Devers is expected to eventually see time at first base, which would lead to Flores getting more opportunities at designated hitter. Over 16 outings in June, Flores is slashing .269/.371/.385 with seven RBI, seven runs scored, three doubles and one home run across 62 plate appearances.
