Ozuna took Tim Melville deep in the third inning to record his 27th homer of the season. While he's recorded only six hits in his last 41 at-bats, Ozuna has still managed to hit three home runs in that span. For the season, he's maintained a .254/.33/.495 line across 478 plate appearances while also chipping in 74 runs and 82 RBI.

Cabrera is not in the lineup for Game 2 of Thursday's doubleheader against the Yankees, Anthony Fenech of the Detroit Free Press reports.

Cabrera will sit for the second half of Thursday's twin bill after 2-for-4 with a double and a walk in Game 1. Ronny Rodriguez is serving as the designated hitter in his stead.

An MRI revealed Turner is dealing with a mild left ankle sprain, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports.

According to David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports, manager Dave Roberts said he isn't ruling Turner out for the team's upcoming series against the Mets, though the skipper doesn't believe he'll play in Friday's series opener.

Stanton (knee) will be the Yankees' regular left fielder when he returns to action next week, Randy Miller of NJ.com reports.

Stanton will play in the Florida Instructional League this weekend and is likely to be activated at the start of New York's next homestand as long as his knee holds up. He could be in the lineup as early as Tuesday and is expected to get regular playing time in left field for the remainder of the season. Stanton has played in only nine games for the Yankees this year, manning left field in five of those games while starting three times in right field and once in the designated hitter spot.

Ohtani will undergo season-ending surgery to address a bipartite patella in his left knee.

The procedure, which Ohtani will undergo Friday in Los Angeles, typically carries an 8-to-12-week recovery timeframe, so the two-way star should be fully healed by the time spring training rolls around. According to Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register, this won't affect Ohtani's recovery from Tommy John surgery; he's still expected to complete the throwing portion of his rehab in December. The 25-year-old appeared in 106 games as DH in his second year in the majors, finishing with a .286/.343/.505 slash line along with 18 home runs, 12 stolen bases and 62 RBI.

Turner (ankle) is not in the lineup Thursday against the Orioles, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports.

Matt Beaty is starting at third base and hitting second in Thursday's series finale as the Dodgers await MRI results on Turner's ankle, which has kept him out of the lineup since Saturday.

Lewis went 1-for-3 with a three-run homer in a win over the Reds on Wednesday.

Lewis' 383-foot shot with Austin Nola and Kyle Seager aboard not only erased a 2-0 deficit, it also broke up a Sonny Gray no-hit bid. The round tripper also made Lewis the 24th player in major-league history to hit a homer in both of his first two big-league games and the third player in franchise history to accomplish the feat. With Mitch Haniger (groin/back) almost assuredly remaining sidelined for the balance of the season at this point, Lewis should continue seeing a solid amount of playing time in right field.

Ramirez is not in Thursday's lineup against the Brewers.

He is hitting .258 with one home run and zero steals in nine games this month. Austin Dean gets the start in left field and will hit eighth.

Ohtani went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Wednesday's loss to Cleveland.

Ohtani plated the Angels' second run with a blast to right field in the fifth inning. The homer was his second in September after he hit only one round tripper in 96 at-bats in August. Overall, the Japanese slugger is slashing .286/.343/.505 with 18 home runs, 62 RBI and 12 steals in 425 plate appearances this season.

Soler went 4-for-5 with a double, two home runs and four RBI in Wednesday's 8-6 win over the White Sox.

The 27-year-old continues to eclipse his own franchise record for homers in a season with every new blast -- Soler now has 43, to go with his own personal bests of 106 RBI and an .899 OPS. With 28 doubles and 16 games left on the schedule, he also has an outside shot at matching or breaking another Royals record -- Hal McRae's 86 extra-base hits, set in 1977.
