Justin Turner DH | CHC
Dodgers' Justin Turner: Homers again in loss
Turner went 3-for-4 with a solo home run in a loss to Arizona on Saturday.
Turner got the Dodgers on the board with a 408-foot blast to left center field in the third inning. The 34-year-old has been one of the hottest hitters in the majors since the All-Star break, ranking third in the league with 16 home runs while slashing .301/.375/.656 with a 1.031 OPS in 44 games.

J.D. Martinez DH | NYM
Red Sox's J.D. Martinez: Extends on-base streak
Martinez went 2-for-3 with a double, two RBI and a run scored in Saturday's 10-4 loss to the Angels.
Martinez extended his on-base streak to 12 games, during which he's driven in 20 runs, giving him 92 RBI over 124 games. That leaves him in position to knock in at least 100 runs for a fourth time in the last five seasons.

Eloy Jimenez DH | TOR
White Sox's Eloy Jimenez: Has three-hit Saturday
Jimenez went 3-for-5 with an RBI in Saturday's 11-5 loss to the Braves.
Jimenez posted his third straight multi-hit game and appears to be beyond the hip injury that forced him to miss games and limited him to designated hitter duties for a few contests. It looks like he's regained his timing, going 7-for-12 over the last three, but power has eluded him of late. Jimenez has gone 10 games without an extra-base hit.

Bryce Harper 1B | PHI
Phillies' Bryce Harper: Goes deep again
Harper went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in a 6-3 loss against the Mets on Saturday.
The 26-year-old extended his hitting streak to eight games, and yet, he's still seen little movement in his average over the last week because Saturday was just his second multi-hit game of the streak. However, Harper does have five homers in his last 11 games too, putting him one shy of a second straight 30-homer season. He is batting .257 with 29 home runs, 97 RBI, 84 runs and nine steals in 483 at-bats this season.

Alex Dickerson DH | ATL
Giants' Alex Dickerson: Out vs. southpaw
Dickerson is not starting Saturday against the Padres.
Dickerson hits the bench with left-hander Joey Lucchesi starting for the Padres. Joey Rickard is starting in left field and hitting sixth in his place in Dickerson's place.
-
Matt Carpenter DH | STL
Cardinals' Matt Carpenter: On bench for nightcap
Carpenter is not in the lineup for Game 2 of Saturday's doubleheader against the Reds.
Carpenter will give way to Tommy Edman at third base for the second half of Saturday's twin bill after going 1-for-3 with a double in Game 1.
-
Shohei Ohtani DH | LAD
Angels' Shohei Ohtani: Gets breather
Ohtani is not starting Saturday against the Red Sox.
Ohtani will get the day off Saturday after going 0-for-8 with a golden sombrero in Friday's extra-innings loss. Justin Upton is serving as the DH in his stead, allowing Brian Goodwin to start in left field.
-
Joc Pederson DH | TEX
Dodgers' Joc Pederson: Riding pine
Pederson is not in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Diamondbacks.
No surprise here; the Dodgers are facing a lefty in Robbie Ray and Pederson still has logged only four starts against southpaws all season. He has a .463 OPS in his limited action against lefties, but Pederson continues to lead off against nearly all opposing righty starters.
-
Miguel Cabrera DH | DET
Tigers' Miguel Cabrera: Good to go Saturday
Cabrera (biceps) is starting at DH and hitting third Saturday against the Twins.
Cabrera has been cleared to rejoin the lineup after missing the past three games with a biceps injury. He's hitting .274/.344/.429 with three home runs this month and will look to pick up where he left off against lefty Martin Perez on Saturday.

Giancarlo Stanton DH | NYY
Yankees' Giancarlo Stanton: Still no timeframe for return
Stanton (knee) took batting practice, ran arcs, and participated in defensive drills Friday, but it is still unclear when he may return, Randy Miller of NJ.com reports.
Stanton continues to ramp up his activity, but the Yankees remain vague about when he will be ready to return to game action. He may face live pitching next week, which would move him a step closer to potentially rejoining the big club. The slugger has played in only nine games this season as he has dealt with a variety of injuries.
