Canha went 2-for-5 with a solo home run and two runs in a win over the Blue Jays on Monday.

Canha got the Athletics' scoring barrage started with a 377-foot shot to left center in the second. The outfielder is finishing the month up in solid fashion, as he's hit safely in six of his last eight games, including all five of his starts during that stretch. The 29-year-old continues to boast a career-best stat line (.261/.335/.467) and his ability to play multiple outfield spots should continue affording him regular playing time despite the emergence of Nick Martini.

Winker (shoulder) was moved to the 60-day disabled list Monday, Bobby Nightengale of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

The move is merely a procedural one, with Winker having already been ruled out for the season after undergoing shoulder surgery. Winker is expected to be ready to go by spring training.

Ozuna went 1-for-4 with a solo home run, a walk and two runs scored Monday in the win over Colorado.

Ozuna launched a walkoff home run in the bottom of the 10th inning, as the Cardinals took the first game of the series. He's pieced together a modest six-game hitting streak, going 9-for-26 with three homers and seven RBI over that stretch. Ozuna sits with a .268 average, 13 homers and 58 RBI through 102 games in 2018.

Carpenter went 3-for-4 with two RBI and a walk Monday against the Rockies.

Carpenter tied the game in the seventh inning by plating two on a single. He's had an impressive month of July through 24 games, as he's batting .333 with 10 home runs and 19 RBI. The 32-year-old is slashing .277/.387/.569 through 101 games in 2018.

Cabrera (biceps), who has been splitting his time between Michigan and Florida since going down for the season in mid-June, said he's optimistic that he'll be ready for the start of spring training, Evan Woodbery of MLive.com reports.

Cabrera has primarily been doing rehab work in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He said the process has been "a little slow," but he remains optimistic that his injury won't force him to miss time in 2019. The 35-year-old had an .843 OPS in 38 games before going down with a torn bicep, and while he's not as formidable a hitter as he once was, Cabrera could still have a little bit left in his bat if he comes back healthy. The veteran certainly figures to come at a steep discount in fantasy drafts next spring.

McCutchen (foot) will man right field and bat atop the order in San Diego on Monday, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

McCutchen will not miss any additional time after leaving Sunday's game against Milwaukee due to a foot contusion. With just a two-game set on tap in San Diego, he will get a breather during the club's scheduled off day Wednesday. Through 103 games this year, McCutchen has slashed .253/.348/.405 with 10 home runs, 43 RBI and nine stolen bases.

Vogelbach was optioned to Triple-A Tacoma on Monday.

Vogelbach only played in two games after being called up for the second half of the season, and will head back to the Triple-A level as James Paxton (back) comes off the DL. Look for Vogelbach to return to Seattle once rosters expand in September, though he could wind up coming back sooner if there's an injury or two.

Beer was called up to High-A Buies Creek on Monday, Sam Dykstra of MiLB reports.

Beer only spent a month with Low-A Quad Cities after earning a quick promotion from short-season Tri City following just 11 games with the team. Across 28 outings with Quad Cities, he slashed .342/.430/.486 with three home runs, 16 RBI and one stolen base.

Ozuna went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run Sunday against the Cubs.

Ozuna took Kyle Hendricks deep in the first inning to record his 12th home run of the season. He has now homered in consecutive games, only the second time he's achieved that this season. Even with the recent boost in power, Ozuna is slugging a disappointing .390 through 395 at-bats this season, and his .260 mark across the last 30 days is hardly a reason for optimism.

McCutchen was lifted from Sunday's tilt against Milwaukee due to a foot contusion, Andrew Baggarly of The Athletic Bay Area reports.

McCutchen suffered the injury after fouling multiple balls off his foot, although he was likely removed as a precaution. The issue shouldn't force him to remain out for long, and barring a more negative diagnosis, he'll be considered day-to-day moving forward.
