Ohtani exited Wednesday's game prior to the fifth inning with a blister on his right middle finger, Bill Shaikin of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Ohtani was seen blowing on his hand throughout the outing, and he was ultimately removed prior to the fifth frame due to the issue. He had allowed just one run through four innings while striking out four prior to exiting. The severity of the issue remains unclear, but it's worth noting that the 23-year-old was only pushed back a couple days after exiting a start earlier in the year with blisters.

Ohtani was removed from Wednesday's game against the Royals prior to the fifth inning with an apparent injury, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic Los Angeles reports.

Ohtani had a meeting with trainers after warming up for the fifth inning, after which he exited the game and headed straight to the clubhouse. The 23-year-old was seen blowing on his hand/fingers during the game, per Ardaya, suggesting the blisters he dealt with earlier in the season could be back. Ohtani had allowed one run over four innings prior to exiting the game.

Buxton has only made moderate progress in his recovery from a broken toe, Phil Miller of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.

The pain in Buxton's toe is apparently subsiding at a slower rate than expected. He still hasn't resumed baseball activities, and a possible return date for the outfielder likely won't come into focus until he's able to do so. Ryan LaMarre will continue to fill in for the injured Buxton in center field.

Turner (wrist) will bat third and man third base for Wednesday's game against Pittsburgh, Andy McCullough of The Los Angeles Times reports.

Turner will return to the starting lineup after sitting out Tuesday's contest due to left wrist soreness. Over 18 games this season, Turner is hitting .250 with a .660 OPS.

Winker is starting in left field Wednesday and batting leadoff against the Rockies.

Despite recent statements from interim manager Jim Riggleman that the Reds' four-man outfield rotation was ending, with Winker as the odd man out, Winker has now started the last three games and four of the last five. He continues to get on base at a decent clip (.352 OBP), albeit without any palpable power (.317 SLG).

Reyes is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Braves.

Reyes has accumulated a hit in seven of his past eight games, including a 6-for-15 span with a pair of solo home runs over his previous four starts. The 22-year-old will head to the bench in favor of Hunter Renfroe in right field for the series finale.

Ozuna went 3-for-4 with an RBI single and a run in a loss to the Marlins on Tuesday.

The surging outfielder got to his former Marlins squad, generating his third multi-hit effort over the first four games of June. Ozuna's bat has been blistering hot since May 21, a 13-game span in which he's hitting .487 with a double, two home runs, eight RBI and eight runs over 46 plate appearances, while also generating an eye-popping .523 wOBA.

Miller entered Tuesday's loss to the Nationals as a pinch hitter in the eighth inning and delivered a two-run double in his only at-bat.

As was the case in the Rays' most recent game Sunday, Miller was responsible for the team's only runs via a timely two-bagger. He did it in a pinch-hit capacity this time around, as he was called on in place of reliever Wilmer Font in the eighth inning with Tampa facing a 4-0 deficit. With the recent departure of Denard Span via trade, Miller's 21 RBI put him behind only C.J. Cron and Wilson Ramos on the team in that category.

Cespedes (hip) was able to run in the outfield and around the bases prior to the Mets' game Wednesday, but isn't expected to return this weekend against the Yankees, Mike Puma of the New York Post reports.

Cespedes hasn't officially been ruled out for the Subway Series as the club is still discussing the possibility of his return this weekend. Manager Mickey Callaway previously stated that Cespedes will not require a rehab assignment.

Carpenter went 3-for-5 with a run scored and a strikeout in Tuesday's loss to the Marlins.

Carpenter smacked a trio of singles his first three times up, snapping a mini 0-for-11 slump over the three previous games. The 32-year-old sports a lowly .225/.333/.414 slash line, but most of that has been weighed down by a bad start. Since the end of April, Carpenter is hitting .280 with five homers and 11 doubles in 107 at-bats.
