The 30-year-old continues to absolutely mash left-handed pitching -- Saturday's homer off Madison Bumgarner was his ninth in just 62 at-bats against lefties this season. He will face southpaws in the first two games of next week's series against the Dodgers (Rich Hill and Hyun-Jin Ryu).

Ozuna went 1-for-4 with a solo homer and a walk Saturday against the Padres.

Ozuna blasted his 31st homer of the season to tie the game at one in the fourth inning of a contest the Marlins would win in extra innings. He's homered in four of his last six games, and he's been a fantasy superstar this year with a .311/.376/.560 slash line.

Blackmon went 1-for-5 with a two-run homer Saturday against the Braves.

Blackmon crushed his 31st homer to break open a tie game in the ninth inning, leading the Rockies to a road victory. He's been an absolute superstar this year with a .335/.397/.621 slash line along with 12 steals.

Cabrera went 3-for-4 with a solo homer and a walk Saturday against the White Sox.

Cabrera launched his 14th bomb of the season to give the Tigers a third-inning lead they'd never relinquish. This was the first time he's hit safely in five games, and unless it's apparent that he's going on an extended hot streak, his .411 slugging percentage hasn't done much to help fantasy owners.

Miller (shoulder) is starting at second base and batting eighth against the Cardinals on Saturday , Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Miller exited Thursday's game with a left shoulder contusion, but the 27-year-old second baseman is good to go after getting Friday's game off. He'll face the struggling Mike Leake in his return to the lineup.

McCutchen struck out in a pinch-hitting appearance to end Friday's game.

Since the All-Star break, McCutchen is slashing just .256/.363/.421 with six home runs and four stolen bases in 157 plate appearances. He's posted a .642 August OPS (in 89 PA) while his plate discipline (10:19 BB:K) has suffered. Meanwhile, McCutchen's .279 career batting average in September represents his second-worst month behind only April (.254), something to consider the rest of the way. To be fair, he bounced back after not starting for a couple days in late May, so perhaps his time off will jumpstart his numbers in the short run.

Cespedes (hamstring) was placed on the disabled list Saturday, Marc Carig of Newsday reports.

This move doesn't come as a surprise, as the Mets announced their plans to put Cespedes on the DL following Friday's game. With Cespedes out, the club has promoted Travis Taijeron to the majors for the first time in his career. As of now, a timeframe for Cespedes' return is unknown.

While Giancarlo Stanton was busy slugging two homers of his own, Ozuna saved his fireworks for the seventh inning after Adam Conley and the Marlins bullpen had blown the early lead Stanton had given them. Ozuna now has 30 homers and 101 RBI on the season to go along with his dynamite .311/.376/.556 slash line, and he needs just three more runs to set a new career high in that category as well.

Ho hum, another monster performance from the most dangerous slugger in the game. Stanton's five RBI were a season high, and he now has six more games before the end of the month to hit just one more dinger and get to 50 before the calendar turns to September. His huge second-half run -- 23 home runs in 39 games since the All-Star break -- has also carried the Marlins back over the .500 mark for the first time since late April and into wild-card contention.

Cespedes will head to the disabled list with the hamstring strain he suffered Friday night against the Nationals, Mike Puma of the New York Post reports.

According to general manager Sandy Alderson, this strain is just as bad as the one that sent him to the disabled list earlier this season. That stint cost Cespedes 38 games, so chances are his season is over. If so, he'll finish with a .292/.352/.540 batting line and 17 home runs over just 81 games.
