Stanton was 1-for-4 with an RBI, but he struck out three times during the Marlins' 3-2 loss to the Diamondbacks on Thursday.

It appears Stanton is continuing his hot streak, evidenced by his production on a night the rest of the Miami offense was mostly absent. Since May 20, he is hitting .395 with three home runs and 10 RBI. Thursday also marked his return after sitting out Wednesday with hamstring cramping.

Miller (abdomen) went 0-for-3 with a walk in his first rehab game for High-A Charlotte on Wednesday, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Miller's rehab assignment isn't expected to last very long, as he's been making steady progress over the last week-plus. The 27-year-old has been sidelined since May 16 with his injury, although he didn't officially go on the disabled list until two days later. Miller had snapped out of a 4-for-40 slump in the last game he'd played in, going 3-for-4 in a loss to the Indians.

Brantley went 1-for-3 with two RBI during Thursday's win over Oakland.

The outfielder is now up to 24 RBI and a .301/.370/.439 slash line. While he probably won't repeat his 20-homer campaign from 2014, Brantley is still tilting the scales across all traditional rotisserie categories. His placement in the three-hole of the Cleveland lineup also helps his fantasy floor and ceiling.

Stanton (hamstring) is playing right field and batting second Thursday against the Diamondbacks, Clark Spencer of the Miami Herald reports.

As expected, Stanton is back in action after being held out of Wednesday's contest due to hamstring cramping. Stanton, who is slashing .284/.349/.557 with 14 homers this season, will face Zack Greinke in his return to the lineup.

McCutchen went 2-for-4 with a double and a pair of walks Wednesday against Arizona.

He's hitting .381 in 21 at-bats since the Pirates moved him to the sixth spot in the batting order May 26. After an off day Thursday, McCutchen will face the Mets' Matt Harvey on Friday in New York. McCutchen has three hits (including a homer) in seven career at-bats against Harvey.

Jays manager John Gibbons acknowledged that Goins has starter-worthy skills, but made clear that the infielder will be no more than a fill-in based on the current roster construction, Steve Buffery of the Toronto Sun reports.

While Troy Tulowitzki (hamstring) spent a month on the DL, Goins locked up the everyday role at shortstop for the Jays. While filling the gap, Goins posted an uninspiring .210/.257/.362 line over 115 plate appearances. He did, however, manage a career-high .152 ISO during the 30-game stretch. There's no question the 29-year-old can be a premier defender, and with regular playing time he believes he can be a solid MLB hitter. Unfortunately for Goins, his manager has no intention of changing the lineup. "You can still have a pretty good career being a utility player," Gibbons said. "But Ryan, he could go to some good teams (in the majors) right now and be a starter. But he's got Tulo and Devon [Travis] here," the manager added. With the Jays infield set, Goins can be dropped across most fantasy formats until another routine job becomes available to him.

Ozuna went 3-for-5 with a home run, two runs scored and three RBI in Wednesday's 10-2 win over the Phillies.

That's now three homers in the last five games and 14 on the season for Ozuna, who's also collected 11 hits, five runs and six RBI over that stretch. The 26-year-old is well on his way to shattering his previous career high of 23 home runs.

Turner (hamstring) is not expected to return during the Dodgers' current road trip, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports.

The team was hoping Turner would be ready to re-enter the lineup after a brief rehab assignment, but considering he has yet to embark on said assignment, it's unlikely that he'll be ready to go until Monday at the earliest. He was seen taking batting practice Wednesday, however, so it doesn't seem like he's encountered any setbacks in his recovery at this point.

Carpenter went 1-for-4 with a run in Tuesday's 9-4 loss to the Dodgers.

Despite reaching safely for the seventh time in the last nine games, Carpenter has endured a difficult month at the plate in terms of batting average. He's hit just .213, although his six homers have helped him to .360 and .461 figures in OBP and slugging, respectively. However, a resurgence appears inevitable once Carpenter's luck turns around, as his impressive 51.5 percent hard contact over 111 May plate appearances has been neutered in part by a .217 BABIP.

Harper had his suspension reduced to three games and will begin serving it Wednesday, Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports reports.

Harper appealed his suspension immediately after it was handed out, and he managed to shave one game off of the original sentence. With the superstar beginning to serve the suspension Wednesday, the earliest he can return to the lineup would be Sunday in Oakland. In the meantime, Brian Goodwin seems to be in line for an uptick in playing time.
