Pederson went 2-for-4 with a home run, a steal, two RBI and a run in Saturday's win over Arizona.

Pederson had hit only two singles in his last seven games after launching two homers in the game before that stretch. The 24-year-old has six steals this year, but displayed much more speed in the minors, where he topped 20 stolen bases in four straight years. It remains to be seen whether or not the young outfielder will be able to replicate that production in the majors.

Cabrera went 2-for-3 with a double and a walk in Saturday's 1-0 loss to the Indians.

The perennial All-Star was the only Tigers hitter to notch multiple hits, as eight Indians relievers teamed up to neutralize the lineup after Carlos Carrasco was forced from the game with a hand injury after just two pitches. Cabrera now has four multihit efforts and five home runs in September.

Ramirez, who was acquired from the Pirates on Aug. 1, hit .311/.360/.407 with 50 RBI and 60 runs over 99 games in the Double-A Eastern League.

Ramirez was part of the deal that included pitcher Francisco Liriano. The Jays' No. 9 prospect played in only one game for the organization before injuring his knee and finishing the year on the DL. Ramirez's .311 average and seven triples both ranked fifth in the Eastern League this season. Although the 22-year-old has speed, Ramirez will need to improve his baserunning skills, as he was just 7-for-17 in stolen base attempts. Overall, the Columbian native has the tools to one day become a big league outfielder, and he's expected to be in the mix when spring training rolls around next year.

McCutchen had only two hits in nine at-bats in Saturday's doubleheader, but racked up five RBI against the Reds.

He hit a couple other balls hard in the sweep. Following a weeklong slump, McCutchen is 9-for-22 with three homers and 10 RBI. The outfielder has just three hits in 17 career at-bats off Sunday starter Dan Straily.

Dickerson is out of the lineup Saturday against the Rockies.

Dickerson hit the ground running upon his return to the majors in late June, but he's been ice cold of late, with just two hits in his last 21 at-bats.

Stanton is out of the lineup Saturday against the Phillies, Clark Spencer of the Miami Herald reports.

Stanton made his much-anticipated return to the lineup Friday after being limited to pinch-hit duty for a week following his activation from the DL. The 26-year-old finished 0-for-2, but drew two walks and scored a run in the Marlins' series-opening loss. It seems he'll remain limited over the rest of the season as the groin issue continues to linger, but most will still want Stanton active even if he sits every other day or so.

Belt went 2-for-4 with a double, a run and two RBI in an 8-2 win over the Cardinals on Friday.

Belt contributed a two-run double during San Francisco's six-run third inning, increasing his RBI total to 74. The first baseman hasn't hit for much power lately, with just one home run over his last 29 games, but he's posting the best OPS (.853) of his career thanks to a career-high 93 walks and .390 on-base percentage. More importantly, he's on track to set a career high in games after missing considerable time with concussions the last two seasons.

Soler was forced to leave Friday's game against Milwaukee with right side tightness, Carrie Muskat of MLB.com reports.

The injury descriptor is so vague that it's hard to say how long Soler will be out, if he misses any games at all. The Cubs have already clinched the National League Central, so they'll be able to play it safe with him down the stretch. Side tightness could mean something like an oblique injury, which could force him to miss most of the rest of the season with just a couple weeks left. Consider him day-to-day until we hear more.

Stanton (groin) is back in the lineup batting second and playing right field in Friday's game against the Phillies, Clark Spencer off the Miami Herald reports.

When Stanton originally suffered the groin injury it looked as if he might be out for the season, but after making five pinch-hit appearances over the past week, he's finally ready to give it a go in the outfield. It remains to be seen if he's ready to play multiple days in a row, but with the Marlins hanging on for dear life in the wild-card race, Stanton will try and give Miami whatever he has in the tank.

McCutchen went 3-for-5 with two home runs and three RBI while crossing the plate three times in Thursday's 15-2 shelling of Philadelphia.

McCutchen's two solo shots increased his season home run total to 23, matching last year's output. He still sits 30 RBI short of last season's total of 96 though, and his .250 average is more than 40 points lower than where it finished a year ago. The 29-year-old, now in his eighth MLB campaign, has also struck out 133 times this season, matching the career-high mark he set last year (in 29 fewer at-bats).
