Blackmon is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Mets, Patrick Lyons of TheDNVR.com reports.

Blackmon will get a breather after he started in both ends of Saturday's doubleheader. The 35-year-old went 1-for-8 between the two games and saw his six-game hitting streak come to an end in Game 2 of the twin bill. With Blackmon on the bench Sunday, the Rockies will roll out an outfield of Kris Bryant, Yonathan Daza and Randal Grichuk from left to right.

Morel is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Diamondbacks.

Morel started each of the past four games at three different positions, going a collective 4-for-14 with a home run, a stolen base, two walks, two runs and two RBI. Though the Cubs don't have a spot available for Morel in the everyday lineup, he should play regularly against left-handed pitching while he's up with the big club.

Martinez was scratched from the lineup for Sunday's game against the Mariners due to back spasms, Chad Jennings of The Athletic reports.

Martinez was slated to start Sunday before being scratched a few minutes before first pitch. The severity of the injury is unclear, but he'll have Monday's scheduled off day to be evaluated before potentially missing additional time. Christian Arroyo will serve as Boston's designated hitter in his place.

Pederson went 2-for-2 with a double and a walk in Saturday's 2-1 loss to the Padres.

Pederson was the only Giant to log multiple hits in the low-scoring contest. The outfielder hadn't posted a multi-hit game since April 24, going just 4-for-46 (.087) in the 17 games in between. That brutal slump dropped his slash line to .239/.308/.500 with seven home runs, 14 RBI, 13 runs scored, three doubles and a stolen base through 104 plate appearances. He'll continue to play against most right-handed pitchers while sitting against many southpaws.

Torrens is out of the lineup for Sunday's game at Boston.

Torrens has a .467 OPS and 34 percent strikeout rate through 14 games in May and will head to the bench Sunday. Cal Raleigh will take over behind the plate and bat eighth.

Soler is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against Atlanta, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.

After recently missing two straight games due to lower-back stiffness, Soler returned to the lineup as a designated hitter for the first two games versus Atlanta, going a combined 4-for-9 with a home run, two doubles and three RBI. Garrett Cooper will handle DH duties in Sunday's series finale while Soler receives some extra maintenance for his back.

Ramirez will serve as Tampa Bay's designated hitter and cleanup batter in Sunday's game against the Orioles, Neil Solondz of the Rays Radio Network reports.

Ramirez will get a fifth straight turn as the Rays' DH after going 5-for-16 with two runs and an RBI over the previous four contests. The 27-year-old has largely been a short-side platoon player when the Rays are at full strength, but he's benefited from more steady playing time of late with Manuel Margot (hamstring) and Brandon Lowe (back) recently going on the injured list.

Buxton is not in the lineup for Sunday's game at Kansas City, Aaron Gleeman of The Athletic reports.

Buxton started the past three games and will take a seat Sunday after going 0-for-11 with four walks, an RBI and four runs during that stretch. Gilberto Celestino will man center field and bat ninth in his absence.

Manager Derek Shelton said Vogelbach is being held out of the lineup Sunday against the Cardinals due to a lower-body issue, Justice delos Santos of MLB.com reports.

Shelton noted that Vogelbach is "banged up a little bit," which explains why he's been excluded from the lineup for all three of the Pirates' games against St. Louis this weekend. Even if fully healthy, the lefty-hitting Vogelbach may have been a candidate to sit against Cardinals southpaw Steven Matz on Sunday anyway, but the 29-year-old at least felt well enough to make a pinch-hitting appearance in Saturday's 5-4 loss. Vogelbach doesn't look to be in any real danger of landing on the injured list.

With southpaw Steven Matz on the hill for St. Louis, the lefty-hitting Vogelbach will stick on the bench for the third consecutive contest while Yoshi Tsutsugo serves as the Pirates' designated hitter. The Pirates are scheduled to face right-hander Chad Kuhl in Monday's series opener with the Rockies, so expect Vogelbach to check back into the starting nine for that game.
