Ohtani went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run and a walk in Tuesday's loss to the Rockies.

The slugger had only one hit in the contest, but he still managed to drop jaws with his 463-foot solo blast to center field in the fifth inning. The long ball was Ohtani's major-league-leading 36th of the campaign. Per Megan Garcia of MLB.com, Ohtani also leads the league with six homers of over 450 feet on the season.

Alvarez went 3-for-5 with a three-run home run and an additional run in an 8-6 win against the Mariners on Tuesday.

Alvarez connected on a 423-foot homer to right in the first to open the game's scoring, singled and scored in the fifth and singled in the sixth for his first three-hit game since June 18. The designated hitter has been hot of late, going 6-for-14 with three walks over his last four games.

Winker went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 7-4 win over the Cubs.

Winker continued his breakout season Tuesday with a solo home run off Adbert Alzolay in the first inning. The first-time All-Star is hitting a ridiculous .476 in his last five games with two home runs and five RBI.

Jimenez went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run Tuesday against the Royals.

Jimenez was participating in his second game of the season after being activated from the injured list Monday. He tallied his first hit of the campaign with a leadoff single in the second inning. However, the highlight came in the eighth, when he blasted the game-winning home run. The White Sox have shown little hesitation in getting Jimenez back into the mix, as he started in left field Tuesday and has slotted into the cleanup role in both of his contests.

Belt (knee) will report to Triple-A Sacramento on Thursday to begin a rehab assignment, Andrew Baggarly of The Athletic reports.

Belt has been on the shelf over a month while recovering from an inflamed right knee, and he's set to begin the final stage of his rehab work this week, The veteran first baseman is expected to require four or five games in the minors to get back up to speed, so he should rejoin the Giants early next week if all goes well.

Pederson was scratched from Tuesday's lineup versus the Mets due to an upset stomach.

Pederson was slated to start in right field and bat leadoff, but he'll instead be sidelined for at least one game due to the ailment. He should be considered day-to-day while Ehire Adrianza takes his place in the lineup.

Dickerson will sit Tuesday against the Dodgers, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Dickerson will hit the bench with lefty Julio Urias on the mound for the Dodgers. LaMonte Wade, who also bats left-handed, will start in left field in his absence.

Reyes (back) is batting cleanup as the designated hitter Tuesday against the Cardinals.

The righty slugger is back in action after being scratched from Sunday's contest with back spasms. In nine games since the All-Star break, Reyes has hit .222 with three home runs and seven RBI, although he has struck out 16 times in that span. The 26-year-old has gone 0-for-5 with one strikeout in his career against Adam Wainwright, who will start Tuesday for the Cardinals.

Carpenter will serve as the designated hitter and bat eighth Tuesday against Cleveland.

Playing time has been hard to come by of late for Carpenter, but thanks to the DH being available in Cleveland, he'll enter the starting nine for the first time in seven games. For the second season in a row, Carpenter is hitting below the Mendoza Line (.188), and he's striking out at a career-worst 31.5 percent rate.

Brantley went 3-for-4 with a walk and a run scored in Monday's loss against the Mariners.

Brantley wasn't much of a run producer Monday, but he reached base in four of his five plate appearances and continues to be one of the most consistent producers in a stacked Houston lineup. Brantley is hitting a team-best .331 on the year despite posting an average of "only" .297 during the current month (64 at-bats).
