Soler went 2-for-4 with a pair of solo home runs in Monday's 4-3 win over the White Sox.

The 29-year-old has put his power on display recently, posting consecutive two-homer games and six homers overall in his last six contests -- although all of them have come with the bases empty. Soler still has a fairly pitiful .376 slugging percentage with 13 homers, 15 doubles, 36 RBI and 36 runs scored through 342 plate appearances.

Ohtani (5-1) picked up the win in Monday's 6-2 victory over the Rockies, allowing one run on five hits over seven innings. He struck out five without walking a batter and also went 1-for-4 with an RBI, a steal and a run scored.

It's not the first time Ohtani has produced more offense with his bat than he surrendered on the mound. A Dom Nunez solo shot in the fifth inning was the only blemish on his pitching line, and the 27-year-old phenom has delivered quality starts in three straight outings, giving him eight on the season. Ohtani will carry a 3.04 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 100:36 K:BB through 80 innings into his next start.

Rooker went 1-for-3 with a walk and a solo home run in Monday's 6-5 extra-inning win over the Tigers.

Getting the start at DH and hitting second, Rooker took Matt Manning deep to lead off the sixth inning. The 26-year-old rookie has gone yard in back-to-back games, and while he only has three hits in 15 at-bats since his promotion late last week, all three have gone for extra bases (the two homers and a double). Rooker should see regular playing time down the stretch for the Twins with Alex Kirilloff (wrist) done for the year and Nelson Cruz now in Tampa Bay.

Cabrera went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Monday's 6-5 extra-inning loss to the Twins.

The future Hall of Famer got Detroit on the board by taking Michael Pineda deep in the sixth inning. The long ball was Cabrera's eighth of the year and first in July, and he's slashing just .221/.267/.279 in 75 plate appearances this month.

Jimenez started at designated hitter, batted cleanup, and went 0-for-4 with a strikeout in Monday's 4-3 loss to the Royals.

This was Jimenez's first game since spring training, during which he suffered a torn pectoral tendon that made him miss four months. He was understandably anxious to get back and saw just nine pitches in his four at-bats, including expanding the strike zone during his strikeout. Jimenez should eventually get back to playing the field; he's expected to share left field and DH with Andrew Vaughn.

Stanton did not end up playing the outfield as expected during this past weekend's series at Boston, but he is scheduled to log time there during the Yankees' series at Miami that begins July 30, Marly Rivera of ESPN.com reports.

Stanton was slated to see his first action in the field this season at Fenway Park, but he instead started all four games of the series at DH. The slugger now appears set to return to the field during New York's next road interleague series, which will take place in Miami -- where Stanton spent the first eight seasons of his big-league career -- beginning this Friday. That news is certainly a positive for fantasy managers who roster the veteran, since he would otherwise be limited to pinch-hitting duties in the National League park.

McCutchen went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run, a double, a walk and two total runs scored in Monday's 6-5 win over Washington.

The outfielder came up clutch with a walkoff homer off Washington closer Brad Hand. This was McCutchen's third long ball in his last eight games and his 18th of the year. The 34-year-old has added 55 RBI, 52 runs scored, six stolen bases and a .237/.357/.458 slash line across 381 plate appearances as a near-everyday presence in the lineup.

Pederson went 1-for-4 with a double and an RBI in Game 1 of Monday's doubleheader against the Mets.

Pederson got Atlanta on the board in the top of the third inning with an RBI double, plating one of only two total runs in Game 1. After hitting just .230 with the Cubs over his first 73 games of the 2021 campaign, he's now 11-for-41 with four extra-base hits, nine RBI and four runs scored in his first 10 contests with his new club.

Lewis (knee) has begun hitting in the batting cage, Daniel Kramer of MLB.com reports.

A torn meniscus has kept Lewis on the sidelines since the end of May. He's now taken a few steps towards a return, but he still has a long way to go before he gets back into game action.

Jimenez (pectoral) was activated from the 60-day injured list as expected Monday.

Jimenez could well wind up being the biggest addition any team makes at the deadline, as he hasn't played all season since rupturing his left pectoral tendon in late March while trying to rob a home run in spring training. He's one of the better sluggers in the league when healthy, as he's hit 45 homers in 177 games since his debut back in 2019, pairing that with a .276/.321/.527 slash line. He was originally expected to be out until late August or early September, but his .289/.327/.467 line in 12 rehab games suggests he's healthy. Jake Burger was optioned in a corresponding move.
