The Tigers called Bristo up from Triple-A Toledo to serve as their 27th man for Wednesday's doubleheader with Atlanta.

Bristo will give Detroit a multi-inning option out of the bullpen for the twin bill before he heads back to Toledo on Thursday. The right-hander has an unblemished ERA at the big-league level across five innings in two appearances between the Tigers and Rays, but he had been far less impressive at Toledo (8.10 ERA, 1.79 WHIP in 16.2 innings).

Otto (lat) allowed two runs on two hits while striking out four over three innings in a rehab outing for Triple-A Round Rock on Tuesday.

Otto began his rehab assignment Tuesday, and the right-hander threw 36 pitches (25 strikes). The Rangers will build up his strength, and Otto could eventually rejoin the team's starting rotation. With Jacob deGrom (elbow) headed for Tommy John surgery, there's room. Dane Dunning has been filling in, but his last three starts (5.74 ERA, eight walks) were rocky.

White (0-1) was tagged with Tuesday's loss to the Angels. He allowed three runs on four hits and one walk while striking out two over two-plus relief innings.

White was called up from Double-A Frisco to give the Rangers innings on a night when scheduled starter Jon Gray was scratched due to a blister. It was White's MLB debut. He followed starter Cody Bradford, who was also called up to start Tuesday. White is not expected to remain up with the Rangers, who were desperate for innings after using four relievers over seven innings Monday.

Estevez tossed a perfect two-thirds of an inning to earn the save in Tuesday's 7-3 victory over the Rangers. He struck out one.

Estevez came in to get the final two outs, inheriting runners on first and second before striking out Josh Jung to end the game. The 30-year-old veteran is a perfect 18-for-18 in save opportunities this season which ties him for second in MLB, and has allowed just two earned runs over his last 11 appearances. Estevez owns a sparkling 1.50 ERA on the year to go with 39 strikeouts in 30 innings.

Bradford did not factor into the decision Tuesday, allowing one run on two hits and one walk over 4.1 innings against the Angels. He struck out three.

Pitching on three days' rest in his third appearance since being called up from Triple-A Round Rock, Bradford held a potent Angels lineup down for most of the evening. He threw 42 of 64 pitches for strikes and didn't allow a hit to the last eight batters he faced before being pulled in the fifth inning. After being rocked for six runs in his debut, the young southpaw has settled down nicely, allowing just three runs over his last 9.1 innings.

Barria did not factor into the decision Tuesday, allowing three runs on seven hits and one walk over 4.1 innings against the Rangers. He struck out two.

Barria labored for most of the evening, throwing a season-high 93 pitches before being pulled in the fifth inning. The 26-year-old had been primarily working as a multi-inning reliever before being added to the rotation, and he has yet to surpass five innings in any appearance thus far. Barria's next start is tentatively scheduled to come against the Dodgers.

May walked two and struck out one in a scoreless and hitless inning to earn the save in Tuesday's 2-1 win over the Rays.

May got a little help when Randy Arozarena was caught stealing for the second out, and he set down Jose Siri on three strikes to finish the save. This was a decent bounce-back effort for May, who allowed three runs in two-thirds of an inning in his appearance Sunday versus the Brewers. Prior to that messy outing, he'd posted a 5.2-inning scoreless streak. The veteran reliever is up to three saves with a 6.61 ERA, 1.84 WHIP, 13:15 K:BB and two blown saves over 16.1 innings this year.

Harris (2-0) allowed a run on four hits and struck out two over seven innings to earn the win Tuesday over the Rays.

Harris was deployed behind opener Shintaro Fujinami, who pitched a scoreless first inning. Despite the bulk-relief assignment, Harris put in an excellent performance, throwing 63 of 84 pitches for strikes. He became the pitcher of record when Oakland pulled ahead in the eighth inning and Trevor May converted the save in a 2-1 game. This was the longest outing of Harris' career, and it was also one of his best, though the lack of strikeouts is a little concerning. He has a 4.84 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 14:9 K:BB over 22.1 innings through five outings this season. Harris may continue to work behind an opener in his next appearance, which is tentatively scheduled for a home game versus the Phillies this weekend.

King picked up the save Tuesday against the Mets, striking out one in a perfect ninth inning.

King sealed a 7-6 victory, setting the Mets down in order in the ninth inning after Clay Holmes pitched the eighth. It's King's first save since May 15. He improved to 4-for-6 in save chances with a 2.19 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and 41:12 K:BB across 37 innings this season. King should continue to pitch in high-leverage spots for the Yankees, though Holmes is still likely the preferred ninth-inning option.

Hendriks (elbow) received a cortisone shot Sunday and will get a PRP injection in the coming days, Scott Merkin of MLB.com reports.

Hendriks had to get both shots cleared with his oncologist first. The right-hander was placed on the injured list by the White Sox on Sunday with elbow inflammation, and while his MRI revealed no structural damage, there's no set timetable for when the closer will be able to return to the mound for Chicago. It's likely Hendriks will be shut down from throwing while he recovers from the injections, however, so it appears he won't be back on the bump for the White Sox before the end of June at the earliest.
